Obama in a speech at the American University Aug 5 said, among other outrageous things: “Just because Iranian hard-liners chant ‘death to America’ does not mean that that’s what all Iranians believe … In fact, it’s those hard-liners who are most comfortable with the status quo… It’s those hard-liners chanting ‘death to America’ who have been most opposed to the deal…they’re making common cause with the Republican caucus.”

Now N.Y. Senator Chuck Schumer told President Obama he would have to vote against the Iran nuclear deal, and asked Obama to keep it confidential until Schumer could confer with the Democrat caucus. The White House promptly leaked it to the press.

This means Chuck Schumer in the mind of Obama is making common cause with the Republican caucus and those hard-liners chanting ‘death to America’.

A Federal judge has ordered Hillary Clinton and two of her top aides to deliver sworn statements on whether they have produced all the relevant e-mails during their time as employees of the State Department. The judge took the rare step of requiring the trio to deliver their certified statements under penalty of perjury.

More than two dozen Iraqi Chaldean Christians forced from their homes by ISIS have been detained at an ICE detention center in California for six months after crossing the border from Mexico.

Background:The San Diego Union reported July 31 that 20 of the 27 Chaldeans at the Otay Detention Center in Otay Mesa, California, have American family members living in Southern California who are willing to sponsor them.

Family members have been holding weekly vigils and rallies to draw attention to the detentions. Large U.S. Chaldean Catholic communities reside in San Diego and Detroit.

The family members say they’ve been given few details on why they’ve been detained for so long, despite being refugees from Middle East terror.

“These aren’t people who just decided to cross the U.S.-Mexico border. These are people saying, ‘we have nowhere else to go,’” Mark Arabo, a spokesman for the Chaldean community, told the San Diego Union.

“It seems like the border is open to everyone unless you’re an Iraq Christian fleeing ISIS,” Arabo told Bill O’Reilly of Fox News Monday. “Obama is to blame, Congress is to blame, and the U.S. State Department is to blame.”

The Chaldean Christians are being held “without any logic or explanation; they’ve escaped ISIS only to be imprisoned by ICE. These are 20 innocent Christians who escaped a holocaust only to be imprisoned by ICE,” Arabo said. “These are people we should be celebrating not imprisoning.”

As to rub it in , Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khameni has produced a book (In Farsi), outlining how to wipe out Israel. He calls the book “Palestine”. Which calls for verse 52 of the Obama Impeachment song (as if sung by Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

Netanyahu is a pest,

The supreme leader of Iran is apparently now an aspiring author but one thing is for sure: this is no love story.

According to a report on Saturday in the New York Post, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s new book “Palestine” outlines his case for why Israel must be wiped out and how. “The solution is a one-state formula,” he writes, which is called “Palestine.”

Khamenei, who is described in the book as “the flag bearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem,” wrote that his views are not anti-Semitic but “Islamic” and based on “well-established Islamic principles.” basing upon land, which was once owned by Muslims can never be ruled by non-Muslims again. Along with Israel, this also includes Russia, many parts of Europe, Thailand, India, and parts of China and the Philippines.

However, Khamenei singles Israel out as an adou [enemy], doshman [foe] and a “cancerous tumor” for several reasons, the first of which is for being an “ally of the American Great Satan” which is waged in a war to overtake “the heartland of the Ummah [nation].”

Third, he claims that Israel “occupies” Jerusalem and calls it “Islam’s third Holy City.”

Another section of the book boasted past Iran-supported warfare against Israel using examples from Gaza and Lebanon. He writes that he aims to recruit West Bank “fighters” in units modeled after Hezbollah.

Though he doesn’t reference an Iranian nuclear program directly, he mentions that a nuclear Iran would be able to deter Israel from taking any military action against the Islamic republic.

Referring to the Holocaust, Khamenei called it a “propaganda ploy” and writes that “we don’t know why it happened and how.”

The 416-page book is currently only available in Iran in Persian, but apparently an Arabic version is on the way.

CO2 reductions to solve Climate change? Wrong solution for the world. A Limerick.

Renewable energy: – Clean.

The world is so dirty and mean.

Never mind the expense

and it doesn’t make sense.

CO2 is what makes the world green.

The White House Aug 3 announced a target of 32% reduction in CO2 emission from U.S. power plants by 2030. This is a target that no existing Coal fired power plant can meet, only natural gas fired power plants. He also proposed a 70% reduction in emissions other than CO2, which has its merits.

Obama may yet succeed in his campaign promise: “Under my plan the electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket.”

Obama wants us to have as expensive electricity as Denmark and Germany, the two countries with the most wind and solar power per capita.

Us is (was?) an outlier with cheap and abundant fossil fuel and low fuel taxes.

Australia is an outlier, They are paying for implementing a carbon tax.

The President said in his announcement that last year was the warmest on record and that fourteen of the fifteen warmest years occurred in this century.

Another way of looking at the temperature record is: Last year was still one of the 700 coldest in the last 10000 years. See fig: We have now had over ten years since the last major hurricane hit the U.S. mainland. A new record.

The rise of the oceans is partly because we are still recovering from the last Ice age. One point in Northern Sweden is rising as much as three feet per century. This and normal continental drift explains why many coastlines such as the Eastern Seaboard are sinking.

Finally, Obama agrees to close the border. Not ours, but Turkey’s. A Limerick.

It is starting to make sense. The close connection between events in Benghazi and Turkey, the arming of the Syrian rebels, later to become ISIS.

Last week, Obama cut a deal with Turkish President Recep Erdogan, a good Sunni member of the Muslim Brotherhood, that changes the West’s relationship with Turkey.

We get access to 2 bases in Turkey to attack ISIS under Turkish coordination, and Turkey get free hands to run the operation in Syria and attack all terrorists (read the Kurds).

U.S. agrees to set up “Safe Zones” across the border and settle refugees. This is in the Kurdish controlled areas, thus rendering the Kurds incapable of attacking ISIS further.

Erdogan’s hand will be greatly strengthened, he will again control the Kurds in Turkey decimate the Kurds in Syria and prevent U.S to give further assistance to the Kurds.

The “Safe Zones” will to some extent control the refugee flow, but they will also make the Kurds a minority in these areas.

Mission accomplished. It is all in Obama’s plan. A Limerick:
