Britain votes to exit EU. A Limerick on the teakettle revolt.

Item: EU bureaucrats hold off banning high power small appliances such as electric teakettles until just after the British referendum to stay in or leave EU.

With bureaucrats wisdom uncanning;

electrical teakettles banning.

T’was the last straw for Brits,

so they did call it quits.

End EU one world order planning?

Update. The results are in: After a long night of vote counting, the final results have been issued: 51.9% of voters chose to leave the EU, while 48.1% wanted to remain.

Verse 88 of the Obama Impeachment song. Redact all mention of Islamic terror in the Orlando massacre.

The FBI has released a partial transcript of the conversation the gunman at the Orlando massacre had with the Orlando police dispatcher:

Orlando Police Dispatcher (OD)
Shooter (OM)

OD: Emergency 911, this is being recorded.
OM: In the name of God the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]
OD: What?
OM: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God [in Arabic]. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.
OD: What’s your name?
OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to [redacted].
OD: Ok, What’s your name?
OM: I pledge allegiance to [redacted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [redacted].
OD: Alright, where are you at?
OM: In Orlando.
OD: Where in Orlando?
[End of call.]

Who are they trying to protect by these redactions?

This leads to verse 88 of the Obama Impeachment song (sung to the tune of  “Please release me, let me go”)

No Islamic terror here

[redacted] makes it disappear.

I hear what I want to hear,

Transparency? Stick it in your ear.

And here is the whole impeachment song: https://lenbilen.com/2015/02/25/the-complete-obama-impeachment-song/

Brexit, secession fever in Britain. A Limerick.

Secession is brewing in Britain

from EU they’ll vote to be quittin’

More than half to secede,

a reliable read.

No wall, yet the handwriting written.

The headlines go from bad to worse for the UK and EU establishment as yet another new poll this weekend, by Opini20160612_eu1um, shows “Brexit” leading by a remarkable 19 points (52% chose to leave the EU against 33% choosing to keep the status quo). This result comes after 2 polls Friday night showing a 10-point lead for “leave” which sparked anxiety across markets. This surge in “leave” probability comes despite an additional 1.5 million voters having registered this week (which many expected to increase “remain” support). Further anger towards EU was exposed when former cabinet minister Iain Duncan Smith warned that seven new prisons will need to be built in the UK by 2030 to cope with the rising number of migrant criminals (presumedly due to ‘staying’ in the EU). With market anxiety rising, as One River’s CIO notes, if Brexit happens, gold will soar.

All major parties are campaigning for Britain to stay in the EU. Here is the Green Party reason: Caroline Lucas has  called on Green voters to back remaining in the EU on June 23rd, declaring the imminent vote a “climate referendum”.

Lucas, who is a board member of Britain Stronger in Europe and Another Europe is Possible, as well as the Green Party’s only MP, warned a vote for Brexit would undermine efforts to tackle climate change and build a greener economy.

“June 23rd is a climate referendum,” she said. “Leaving the EU could wreck our chances of playing a part in the fight against this existential threat – and hand the country to people who don’t even believe climate change is happening. But by staying as a member of the EU we can build on the progress already made in Paris earlier this year and continue making strides towards a fossil-free future.”

She reiterated her view the EU is in need of sweeping reform, but insisted it remained the “best hope we have when it comes to tackling climate change and protecting our environment”.

President Obama visited Britain recently and advocated strongly for Britain to stay in the EU, warning that if they left they would be at “the back of the queue” for a U.S. trade deal. According to polls taken just before and just after Obama’s visit, that recommendation alone lead to a 3 to 5 point uptick in favor of Brexit.

A Limerick on Hillary’s personal server.

Paranoia, a secrecy fervor

led to Hillary’s personal server.

It had secrets galore,

some top secret, and more.

FBI must decide they MUST serve her.

Lanny. Davis, a Clinton apologist claimed that “there is no evidence that Clinton’s private server was ever successfully hacked… all the dire and dark warnings from partisan Republicans about the secretary of state risking the nation’s security by using a private server are, in fact, all speculation—based on no facts whatsoever.”

This is deception of a special kind. In the first place, why has the Romanian hacker Guccifer pleaded guilty to hacking into Hillary’s server if he did not, in fact, do so? Moreover, the FBI has been in possession of said server for months, and they have uncovered several successful hacking efforts into it when it resided in an upstairs bathroom of the Clinton residence in Chappaqua, New York.

“We know it was hacked numerous times, it’s that simple,” explained a senior U.S. counterintelligence official who is privy some of the FBI’s findings. “If I were Vladimir Putin I’d fire the head of the SVR [Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service] if he didn’t get a good look at Hillary’s emails when they were sitting in plain sight online,” he added with a laugh.

Mr. Davis is hiding behind the fact that the FBI has not yet released the findings of its investigation into EmailGate to the public. Until they do, there is indeed “no evidence” of  foreign intelligence services accessing Ms. Clinton’s emails—since the FBI considers that evidence classified until it is deemed fit to be publicly released. This is how the classification rules that Hillary and her staff so assiduously ignored actually work.

Pope Francis: Jesus Christ, Jehovah, Allah. Only the name is different. A Limerick.

The Bible, Koran are the same

the difference is just in the name.

But the difference is great

One redeems, one is hate.

The Pope is plain wrong, that’s a shame.

A year ago the Bishop Of Rome addressed his Roman Catholic followers regarding the importance of exhibiting religious tolerance. Pope Francis was quoted telling the Vatican’s guests that the Koran, and the spiritual teachings contained therein, are just as valid as the Holy Bible.

“Jesus Christ, Jehovah, Allah. These are all names employed to describe an entity that is distinctly the same across the world. For centuries, blood has been needlessly shed because of the desire to segregate our faiths. This, however, should be the very concept which unites us as people, as nations, and as a world bound by faith. Together, we can bring about an unprecedented age of peace, all we need to achieve such a state is respect each others beliefs, for we are all children of God regardless of the name we choose to address him by. We can accomplish miraculous things in the world by merging our faiths, and the time for such a movement is now. No longer shall we slaughter our neighbors over differences in reference to their God.”

Mea culpa. The story seems to be a “free interpretation” of the Pope’s remarks at a gathering between Roman Catholics, Orthodox, Jews and Muslim leaders. The tone was one of reconciliation, respect, and acceptance of each others faith, but the Bible and the Koran was not specifically mentioned. What threw me off was it was attributed to the Washington Post. (or more specifically washingtonpost.com.co, a Colombian outfit in no way associated with the newspaper.) What the Pope really said was:

I greet and thank cordially all of you, dear friends belonging to other religious traditions; firstly the Muslims, who worship the one living and merciful God, and call upon Him in prayer. I really appreciate your presence, and in it I see a tangible sign of the wish to grow in recipricol trust and in cooperation for the common good of humanity.

The Catholic Church is aware of the importance of the promotion of friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – this I wish to repeat this: the promotion of friendship and respect between men and women of different religious traditions – this is attested evident also in the valuable work undertaken by the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue. The Church is equally aware of the responsibility that each of us bring towards our world, abd to the whole of creation, that we must love and protect. And we can do a lot for the good of the less fortunate, for those who are weak and suffering, to promote justice, to promote reconciliation, to build peace.. But above all, we must keep alive in our world the thirst for the absolute, and must not allow the vision of the human person with a single dimension to prevail, according to which man is reduced to what he produces and to what he consumes: this is one most dangerous threats of our times.

We know how much violence has been provoked in recent history by the attempt to eliminate God and the divine from the horizon of humanity, and we feel the need to witness in our societies the original openness to transcendence that is inherent in the human heart. In this we feel the closeness also of those men and women who, while not belonging to any religious tradition, feel, however the need to search for the truth, the goodness and the beauty of God, and who are our precious allies in efforts to defend the dignity of man, in the building of a peaceful coexistence between peoples and in the careful protection of creation.

Dear friends, thank you for your presence. To all, I offer my cordial and fraternal greetings.

Nevertheless, the approach to paper over irreconcilable differences is a warning sign.

Jyllands-Posten-pg3-article-in-Sept-30-2005-edition-of-KulturWeekend-entitled-Muhammeds-ansigtMy wife is Danish, so I follow Danish news. The newspaper Jyllandsposten had in September 2005 issued a competition for the best cartoon of Muhammad. This was in response to a threat from the Muslims. There had been an honor killing in Denmark, and the Danes decided: We will not put up with this. So they gave lengthy sentences to all six involved, including the taxi-driver, since he too was in on it. They got death threats for the way they reported it. So Jyllandsposten editors decided: We are not afraid. Numerous riots and more than a hundred deaths have occurred since the publication of the cartoons. The Danish flag also got the honor of being burned together with the Israeli and U.S. flag.

I followed in horror. Is this the face of Islam? Why do they not condemn the insanity of it? I told the Lord in prayer. I am going to find out about the Muslims. The Lord answered: You may do that, but first you must learn the Holy Bible fully. So I put the Bible to Power-point, 11000 slides and growing, then I put the Koran to power-point, 2040 slides. To understand the message better I wrote it down in the order of revelation rather than in the order of length, the traditional way. I was disappointed. The message from Mecca, the first chapters, is peace and tolerance. The message after Muhammad moved to Medina is War, holy war, arbitrary laws(sharia), and mind-control. This is evil.

The symbol of Christianity is the cross, the symbol of Islam is the crescent moon. Roman Catholics frequently use the crucifix, reminding them of the suffering Christ and His death on the cross. Evangelicals use the empty cross, reminding them of the centrality of the cross. Jesus died on the cross to reconcile us back to Himself, was buried and on the third day rose again from the dead. This is the true Christian message of reconciliation, God seeking man.

This message of reconciliation is anathema to Islam. The Koran denies Jesus died on the cross, it only seemed so to the Jews. The Koran agrees that Jesus ascended to heaven, but directly without death, burial and resurrection. Muslims also believe Jesus will return, but in their belief he  will be accompanied by the 12th imam and proclaim Muhammad to be greater than himself and destroy all crosses. Instead, Islam has a set of rules how man can be accepted by Allah.

One of the five pillars of Islam is fasting during the month of Ramadan. It is a hard fast from sunrise to sunset. This year Ramadan starts after sunset June 5 if you are a Sunni, after sunset June 6 if you are a Shi’i (since the new moon must be seen by the Shia leader before Ramadan can be declared). The rules are, pray thus, say that, pray now, don’t pray when the Sun is in Zenith but wait 2 minutes, and so on. Every year Ramadan comes 11 days earlier in the year, so Muslims experience 103 years when we go through 100. Islam is based on a strictly lunar calendar, whereas the rest of the world have either a solar calendar or a Lunisolar calendar with 5 leap months every 19 years, completing a 19 year lunar cycle. This way years and seasons line up.

Islam is based on lunacy, the number 19 is prevalent in Koranic numerology and is the reason for the crescent moon being their main symbol.

There is no least common denominator between Islam and Christianity. Christianity have gone through a transformation since the dark ages where the Church ruled tyrannically. Islam must go through a similar transformation separating mosque and state.

Without that I see no avenue for reconciliation.

The fiscal status of all fifty states and Puerto Rico according to party rule.

The Mercatus Center of George Mason University has come out with a study of which states are most fiscally solvent as of fiscal year 2014. These are their rankings of all 50 states and Puerto Rico. The best fiscal status in 2014 is enjoyed by states ruled by a Republican governor, Republican legislature. There are 25 of these with an average score of 0.89

1. Alaska                            9.56

2. Nebraska                      2.65

3. Wyoming                      2.60

4. North Dakota              2.60

5. South Dakota               2.18

6. Florida                           1.94

7. Utah                                1.19

8. Oklahoma                     1.19

9. Tennessee                     0.88

11. Ohio                             0.56

12. Idaho                           0.44

13. Nevada                       0.41

15. Alabama                     0.28

16. Texas                            0.20

17. Indiana                        0.17

18. South Carolina          – 0.04

21. North Carolina          – 0.17

23. Georgia                       – 0.30

27. Kansas                        – 0.44

28. Arkansas                     – 0.50

29. Wisconsin                   – 0.51

31. Arizona                        – 0.60

32. Mississippi                  – 0.65

33. Louisiana                    – 0.73

35. Michigan                      – 0.78

Slightly negative for fiscal responsibility is to have a Democrat Governor, Republican Legislature. There are 6 of these with an average score of – 0.16

10. Montana                         0.69

14. Missouri                          0.34

19. Virginia                          – 0.04

20. New Hampshire          – 0.05

39. Pennsylvania               – 0.97

40. West Virginia                – 0.99

Now we are getting into real negative territory for fiscal solvency. We start with a Republican Governor, Split Legislature. There are four of those with an average score of  – 0.91

25. Iowa                              – 0.37

34. New Mexico                – 0.75

42.  Maine                           – 1.15

46. Kentucky                     – 1.36

Not quite as bad bad is to have a Democrat Governor, split Legislature. There are four of them with an average 0f  – 0.51

22. Colorado                      – 0.27

24. Washington                – 0.31

28. Minnesota                   – 0.44

42. New York                     – 1.03

Much worse is to have a Democrat Governor, Democrat Legislature. The seven of them have an average score of – 1.00

30. Oregon                        – 0.58

36. Vermont                       – 0.79

37. Rhode Island               – 0.90

38. Delaware                     – 0.92

44. California                      – 1.07

45. Hawaii                           – 1.07

50. Connecticut                 – 1.68

Worst of all is to have a Republican Governor, Democrat Legislature. There are four of those with an average of – 1.36.

41. Maryland                      – 1.02

47. Illinois                           – 1.42

48. New Jersey                   – 1.45

49. Massachusetts           – 1.55

And then there is Puerto Rico in a  ‘class’ by itself.

51. Puerto Rico                  – 3.15

This helps to explain why Democrats want the Federal Government to handle everything for them since their states are hopelessly irresponsible with their states affairs, while Republicans as a rule tend to want to have every state handle their own affairs as they see best fit.

One further startling observation is that New Jersey under Governor Chris Christie came in second from last. This helps to explain the reluctance of the more conservative (or fiscally responsible states) to endorse him for President.

On the other hand, Alaska came in first, not in small part due to the heroic efforts of Sarah Palin during her 31.7 month reign as Governor, where she managed to get the Credit Rating for her state to go from AA to AA+ and then raised again to AAA shortly after her resignation. She accomplished more in this short time than most governors do in two terms.

This also helps in part to explain the irrational hatred for Sarah Palin. She did clean up the graft and corruption in Alaska, and they are afraid she would do the same on a national level should she be selected for Vice President.

A terrible jobs report, Obama delusional. A Limerick.

On Thursday President Obama made a visit to Elkhart, Indiana to brag about his economic recovery and cited this as one reason to elect Hillary Clinton in order to preserve his legacy. He also slammed Fox News for reporting otherwise.
Never mind that many living in Elkhart rejected Obama taking credit for the economic progress of hard working businesses in the area, preferring to think it was more due to their solid republican government and their own perseverance. The next day the May jobs report came out, and is the worst we’ve seen on the employment front in five years. Don’t be fooled by a declining unemployment rate, just 38,000 jobs were added last month. Nearly half a million persons gave up their job search and left the work force, as people have been doing for years. The percentage of Americans in the labor force is the smallest since 1978 with 94.71millions of workers out of the labor force.

So if you are one of the millions of workers, ready, willing and able to work but not being able to find any for years, you may feel like this.

If unemployed more than a year,

discouraged, a case less severe.

Do not go ballistic,

you are a statistic.

A loser, a discard, you hear?

This helps to explain the rise of Trump.

One more verse to the Hillary Nursery rhyme. The FBI-men cometh.

After interviewing Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills there is soon only one more person for FBI to interview. It may already have happened and kept under wraps. Hillary claims innocence, all the while Kremlin is debating when or if to release 20,000 or so hacked e-mails.

This adds one more verse to the Hillary Nursery rhyme

Hillary, Hillary, where have you been?

“It’s none of your business, for I am the queen.”

………… more verses  ………….

Hillary, Hillary, did FBI call?

“I do not recall, I have had a great fall.”
