Hillary Clinton’s e-mails hacked by China. A Limerick.

Her e-mails for China to hack

Unsecured, they could track

secret sources, way back.

Our Government is in their sack.

China’s cyber spies have accessed the private emails of “many” top Obama administration officials, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official and a top secret document obtained by NBC News, and have been doing so since at least April 2010.

The email grab — first codenamed “Dancing Panda” by U.S. officials, and then “Legion Amethyst” — was detected in April 2010, according to a top secret NSA briefing from 2014. The intrusion into personal emails was still active at the time of the briefing and, according to the senior official, is still going on.

In 2011, Google disclosed that the private gmail accounts of some U.S. officials had been compromised, but the briefing shows that private email accounts from other providers were compromised as well.

The government email accounts assigned to the officials, however, were not hacked because they are more secure, says the senior U.S. intelligence official.

Update; There were at least two e-mails containing satellite images of crypto secret quality – the one class above top secret sent from Hillary’s server. This is much worse than what General Petraeus was convicted of.

The thin-skinned Donald Trump loses it with Megyn Kelly. A Limerick.

Is Trump just a chump or a grump?

He gave Megyn Kelly a bump.

He called her a Bimbo,

his brain is in limbo,

as dim as was once Forrest Gump.

Update: Donald Trump had to double down with comments I will not repeat.

However, it led to Trump being disinvited to the Red State Conference.

Carly Fiorina tweeted: There. Is. No. Excuse.

Enough said.

Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, and Cheryl Mills to testify “under penalty of perjury”. A Limerick.

A Federal judge has ordered Hillary Clinton and two of her top aides to deliver sworn statements on whether they have produced all the relevant e-mails during their time as employees of the State Department. The judge took the rare step of requiring the trio to deliver their certified statements under penalty of perjury.

For Hillary, Huma and Cheryl

“of perjury” puts them in peril.

Tell the truth? Tell a lie?

It’s past time to slide by.

The judge has them over a barrel.

Verse 52 of the Obama Impeachment Song. Ayatollah Khameni’s book “Palestine” rubs in “Israel must be wiped out”.

As to rub it in , Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khameni has produced a book (In Farsi), outlining how to wipe out Israel. He calls the book “Palestine”. Which calls for verse 52 of the Obama Impeachment song (as if sung by Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

Netanyahu is a pest,

but I like Ayatollah best.

His new book put me to rest.

My promise to Jews was just in jest.

Here is the complete impeachment song: https://lenbilen.com/2015/02/25/the-complete-obama-impeachment-song/

Background: From Jerusalem Post:

The supreme leader of Iran is apparently now an aspiring author but one thing is for sure: this is no love story.

According to a report on Saturday in the New York Post, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s new book “Palestine” outlines his case for why Israel must be wiped out and how. “The solution is a one-state formula,” he writes, which is called “Palestine.”

Khamenei, who is described in the book as “the flag bearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem,” wrote that his views are not anti-Semitic but “Islamic” and based on “well-established Islamic principles.” basing upon land, which was once owned by Muslims can never be ruled by non-Muslims again. Along with Israel, this also includes Russia, many parts of Europe, Thailand, India, and parts of China and the Philippines.

However, Khamenei singles Israel out as an adou [enemy], doshman [foe] and a “cancerous tumor” for several reasons, the first of which is for being an “ally of the American Great Satan” which is waged in a war to overtake “the heartland of the Ummah [nation].”

Third, he claims that Israel “occupies” Jerusalem and calls it “Islam’s third Holy City.”

Another section of the book boasted past Iran-supported warfare against Israel using examples from Gaza and Lebanon. He writes that he aims to recruit West Bank “fighters” in units modeled after Hezbollah.

Though he doesn’t reference an Iranian nuclear program directly, he mentions that a nuclear Iran would be able to deter Israel from taking any military action against the Islamic republic.

Referring to the Holocaust, Khamenei called it a “propaganda ploy” and writes that “we don’t know why it happened and how.”

The 416-page book is currently only available in Iran in Persian, but apparently an Arabic version is on the way.

CO2 reductions to solve Climate change? Wrong solution for the world. A Limerick.

Renewable energy: – Clean.

The world is so dirty and mean.

Never mind the expense

and it doesn’t make sense.

CO2 is what makes the world green.

The White House Aug 3 announced a target of 32% reduction in CO2 emission from U.S. power plants by 2030. This is a target that no existing Coal fired power plant can meet, only natural gas fired power plants. He also proposed a 70% reduction in emissions other than CO2, which has its merits.

Obama may yet succeed in his campaign promise: “Under my plan the electricity rates will necessarily skyrocket.”

https://youtu.be/HlTxGHn4sH4

Obama wants us to have as expensive electricity as Denmark and Germany, the two countries with the most wind and solar power per capita. scatterplot-electricity-cost-vs-installed-renewable-capacity-aus

The chart tells it all. Thirty Cent/ kWh in Denmark.

Us is (was?) an outlier with cheap and abundant fossil fuel and low fuel taxes.

Australia is an outlier, They are paying for implementing a carbon tax.

The President said in his announcement that last year was the warmest on record and that fourteen of the fifteen warmest years occurred in this century.

Another way of looking at the temperature record is: Last year was still one of the 700 coldest in the last 10000 years. See fig:  GISP2 Ice CoreWe have now had over ten years since the last major hurricane hit the U.S. mainland. A new record.

The rise of the oceans is partly because we are still recovering from the last Ice age. One point in Northern Sweden is rising as much as three feet per century. This and normal continental drift explains why many coastlines such as the Eastern Seaboard are sinking.

Finally, Obama agrees to close the border. Not ours, but Turkey’s. A Limerick.

It is starting to make sense. The close connection between events in Benghazi and Turkey, the arming of the Syrian rebels, later to become ISIS.

Last week, Obama cut a deal with Turkish President Recep Erdogan, a good Sunni member of the Muslim Brotherhood, that changes the West’s relationship with Turkey.

We get access to 2 bases in Turkey to attack ISIS under Turkish coordination, and Turkey get free hands to run the operation in Syria and attack all terrorists (read the Kurds).

U.S. agrees to set up “Safe Zones” across the border and settle refugees. This is in the Kurdish controlled areas, thus rendering the Kurds incapable of attacking ISIS further.

Erdogan’s hand will be greatly strengthened, he will again control the Kurds in Turkey decimate the Kurds in Syria and prevent U.S to give further assistance to the Kurds.

The “Safe Zones” will to some extent control the refugee flow, but they will also make the Kurds a minority in these areas.

Mission accomplished. It is all in Obama’s plan. A Limerick:

The Border from Syria to Turkey

must close, but the reasons are murky.

It is Erdogan’s plan

Crush the Kurds, – to a man!

and let ISIS, our friends, be more quirky.

Growing GMO modified rice eliminates Methane pollution. An inconvenient truth for Green Heads. A Limerick.

gmo-riceA true GMO revolution.

Grow rice without Methane pollution.

Half the world fed with rice.

Feed the hungry, how nice.

“Green heads” will explode: – Wrong solution.

In addition to a near elimination of greenhouse gases associated with its growth, SUSIBA2 rice produces substantially more grains for a richer food source. The new strain is shown here (right) compared to the study’s control. Image courtesy of Swedish University of Agricultural Science

A majority of people are worried about GMO food. Yet we all eat it, knowing or not. The modification gene in this rice is taken from a gene in barley. It works by producing more starch instead of more roots. Test plantings in China yielded 90% reduction in Methane production compared to unmodified rice.

One possible downside: Less roots may mean less minerals absorbed, and more starch may mean less protein as a percentage of the rice.

Taliban, ISIS, NAACP. What’s the difference? A Limerick.

ancient-buddhas-destroyedAs the Taliban, ISIS are doers.

NAACP are hem-and-hoers.

“Destroy history! Blast!”

“And forget our past,”

and repeat it as doomsdaying wooers.

The pictures tell the stories.:

Top: Taliban destroys ancient Buddha carvings.

Next: ISIS destroys the Muslim Tomb of Jonah, not

Next: MLK day in Columbia, South Carolina 2011.

Prominent at that location is a large bronze statue of George Washington. That year, the NAACP constructed a “box” to conceal the Father of His Country from view so that participants would not be offended by his presence.

Bottom picture: NAACP proposes to sand blast the carvings of President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson from Stone Mountain.

What is the difference? The means and ideology are different,

but the thought process the same.

Global warming? Ice-breaker rerouted to Hudson Bay to assist commercial ships rather than doing research on global warming. A Limerick.

Irony of ironies:

CCGS Amundsen re-routed to Hudson Bay to help with heavy ice

Worst ice conditions in 20 years force change of plans to icebreaker research program

Instead of the North Baffin Bay

the Amundsen did turn away.

“Too much ice in July,

all our models awry.”

Must break Ice down in Hudson’s ice bay.

A carefully planned, 115-day scientific expedition on board the floating research vessel, the CCGS Amundsen, has been derailed as the icebreaker was called to help resupply ships navigate heavy ice in Hudson Bay.

“Obviously it has a large impact on us,” says Martin Fortier, executive director of ArcticNet, which coordinates research on the vessel. “It’s a frustrating situation.”

During the summer, the  Amundsen operates as a floating research center studying climate change with experiments running 24 hours a day. This year it was scheduled to reach North Baffin Bay.

The wall of separation between church and state. A Limerick.

GSTS70506 VI-7
GSTS70506 VI-7

“Separation of Church and the State”

is not “Of the Church from the State.”

Let our freedom hold sway

in the politics’ fray.

It is part of our Founders Estate.

President Obama and Hillary Clinton are leading the fight to change our constitutional right of “Freedom of Religion” to “Freedom of Worship” and even “Freedom From Religion.” But from the beginning it was not so.

It is no exaggeration to say that on Sundays in Washington during the administrations of Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809) and of James Madison (1809-1817) the state became the church. Within a year of his inauguration, Jefferson began attending church services in the House of Representatives. Madison followed Jefferson’s example, although unlike Jefferson, who rode on horseback to church in the Capitol, Madison came in a coach and four. Worship services in the House–a practice that continued until after the Civil War–were acceptable to Jefferson because they were nondiscriminatory and voluntary. Preachers of every Protestant denomination appeared. (Catholic priests began officiating in 1826.) As early as January 1806 a female evangelist, Dorothy Ripley, delivered a camp meeting-style exhortation in the House to Jefferson, Vice President Aaron Burr, and a “crowded audience.” Throughout his administration Jefferson permitted church services in executive branch buildings. The Gospel was also preached in the Supreme Court chambers.

Jefferson’s actions may seem surprising because his attitude toward the relation between religion and government is usually thought to have been embodied in his recommendation that there exist “a wall of separation between church and state.” In that statement, Jefferson was apparently declaring his opposition, as Madison had done in introducing the Bill of Rights, to a “national” religion. In attending church services on public property, Jefferson and Madison consciously and deliberately were offering symbolic support to religion as a prop for republican government.

Thomas Jefferson’s reply of January 1, 1802, to an address of congratulations from the Danbury (Connecticut) Baptist Association contains a phrase familiar in today’s political and judicial circles: “a wall of separation between church and state.” Many in the United States, including the courts, have used this phrase to interpret the Founders’ intentions regarding the relationship between government and religion, as set down by the First Amendment to the Constitution: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion . . . .” However, the meaning of this clause has been the subject of passionate dispute for the past fifty years.
