Winston Churchill’s bust resurfacing at the joint press conference in London. A Limerick.

On today’s joint press conference between the British PM David Cameron and President Barack Obama one reporter asked about why the bust of Winston Churchill was returned.

Obama answered that he loved Winston Churchill, but he appeared to admit that he had been involved in the decision to remove a Churchill bust from the Oval Office when he became president. It was more important to have a bust of Martin Luther King there, he said.

That is not exactly how it happened.  Obama replaced the bust of Winston Churchill with a New Yorker Magazine cover of him walking on water. That was to him a more fitting image to have on display in the Oval Office.

Decisions have consequences. This is “A Period of Consequences.” The phrase is taken from a speech in the House of Commons in late 1936 in which Winston Churchill warned: “The era of procrastination, of half-measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays is coming to its close. In its place we are entering a period of consequences.”

The British economist and businessman Josiah Charles Stamp is said to have remarked, “It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.”

The Limerick:

Obama shows signs that fer sure he can’t hack it.

Our country: The consequence starts to attack it.

But Winston was right,

We must face the fight.

On Churchill’s old bust Barry blurted: Take back it!

Earth day 2016. Sign the Paris agreement!

Obama is signing in Paris

a document meant to ensnare us.

Constitution? Who cares?

He wants One World affairs

With doomsday predictions to scare us.

It is typical that Obama didn’t sign the agreement himself, but did send John Kerry instead. After all, it had to be done on Lenin’s birthday, also known as Earth day, and Obama was engaged in a self invited private luncheon with Queen Elizabeth and meddling in the political affairs of the United Kingdom.

Obama claims he has the authority to give away the sovereignty of the United States, putting it under U.N. regulations without the approval of Congress.

Maybe so, since this world changing document has no vehicle for enforcement. But if that is the case, why even bother?

The U.S. Army though has as its highest priority pledged to honor “Earth Day” by “reasserting its pledge to address the implications of climate change and assess associated risks to national security.”

Way to go.

Earth Day 2016. Let’s clean the air! A Limerick.

It’s time for the annual Earth day

to celebrate Lenin’s old birthday.

Less “carbon pollution”

is not the solution.

Plant trees and clean up! Ban all hairspray!

The very last sentence is meant as a joke. Unfortunately it isn’t. Most countries have switched out ozone-depleting propellants with non-depleting forms because they signed 1987’s Montreal Protocol, a landmark international agreement signed by 191 countries with the goal of phasing out the production and use of CFCs and other ozone depleting chemicals. It is reported that the phase out of the chemicals is now about 90 percent complete.

Just because those hairspray and shaving cream cans aren’t depleting the ozone layer doesn’t mean they are actually good for the environment. They still contain hydrocarbons and/or compressed gases, much more efficient greenhouse gases than CO2. Every time you hit the button, then, you are raising your “carbon footprint”, albeit ever so slightly.

Modern-day, CFC-free aerosol sprays also emit volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that contribute to ground-level ozone levels, a key component of asthma-inducing smog. The state of California is now regulating consumer products that contain VOCs—and aerosol sprays are not the only targets: Fingernail polish, perfumes, mouthwashes, pump hair sprays, and roll-on and stick deodorants also emit them.

Meanwhile, back in Sep 22, 2011 FDA ruled: Over-the-counter asthma inhalers containing chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) will cease to be made or sold after Dec. 31, 2011

Users of Primatene Mist then had to switch to a prescription product to treat their asthma. Asthma accounts for one-quarter of all emergency room visits in the U.S. each year, with 2 million emergency room visits. Each day 11 Americans die from asthma. There are more than 4,000 deaths due to asthma each year, many of which are avoidable with proper treatment like over-the-counter asthma inhalers.

The reason for their phase out is U.S. in complying to a U.N. mandate to phase out all CFC’s since they burn up the ozone layer over Antarctica, and to a lesser degree over the North Pole.

During the heydays of CFC production the world produced about one megaton annually of all types of CFC combined. This led to an increase in CFC of about 25 parts per trillion in the atmosphere per year. After 1994  the CFC’s were phased out and replaced with HCFC’s. The total amount of CFC’s in the air is now decreasing by about 1 percent per year.

A quick calculation shows that over the counter inhalers release maybe 100 tons of CFC’s per year. This would increase the level in the atmosphere by 0.002 parts per trillion per year. Since CFC’s now are decreasing by 20 parte per trillion /year it would speed up the decrease by 1/10000.

So this banning of CFC inhalers will decrease the time to return to previous levels from 100 years to 99 years and 361 days. And for this we are banning $10 inhalers and forcing asthma sufferers to use prescription devices at more than 40 dollars, and increase the number of emergency room visits, and  even asthma related deaths. For four days in a hundred years?

And the replacement propellants contains VOC’s, which increases the ground level ozone levels, leading to more asthma inducing smog.

In the meantime the Ozone hole is closing again by itself, maybe due to actions already taken.

FDA and EPA gone mad.

Trig Palin is eight. Sarah Palin has plenty of time to enter national politics. A Limerick.

Trig Paxton von Palin is eight.

Good things come to those who can wait.

Sarah Palin has time;

fifty-two, in her prime;

but Hillary is sixty-eight.

A thought came to me. Suppose Donald Trump became president for two terms, followed by Sarah Palin for two terms; after sixteen years with Sarah Palin she will still be younger than Hillary Clinton would be at her inauguration.

here is a loving tribute to Sarah Palin from none other than Glenn Beck, from a few years ago:

Hillary crooked? A Limerick.

Is Hillary crooked? You bet

As crooked a crook as they get.

She has lied from her youth

and she won’t face the truth.

Her “Russian Reset?” She’s all wet.

One of Hillary Clinton’s stops on her “Sell her book/campaign for 2016” tour was an interview with the BBC. The former Secretary of State was asked if she is now embarrassed by the famous reset button with Russia. Amazingly her reply was, “No I think it was a brilliant stroke which in retrospect it appears even more so.”

Methinks the key phrase in this short clip is “Look where we are now”.

In her effort to spin the answer she reveals her true character, which is one of two things; either she is true to herself and lies through her teeth without blinking an eye, or she is too stupid to realize she was taken for a ride all along by a real real politics player, who played for keeps.

What do you think?

Verse 84 of the Obama Impeachment song. Tell it to ISIS.

What’s next in the campaign against ISIS? The Obama administration really wants to tell all.

The Obama administration is preparing to intensify its military operations against ISIS in both Iraq and Syria ahead of ground operations aimed at destroying the group’s self-proclaimed Caliphate.

Dozens more special operations advisers could be deployed to help Syrian rebels prepare for major ground assaults including against the terrorist’s de facto capital of Raqqa.

Meanwhile U.S. Army Apache attack helicopters, already deployed in Iraq to help defend American assets there, could be authorized to carry out offensive strikes against ISIS targets.

The information was revealed to the New York Times by five Defense Department and military officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The new special forces soldiers would join around 50 already advising Syrian rebels fighting the Islamic State, including Kurdish peshmerga forces.

They would be separate to the 200-strong ‘expeditionary targeting force’ which includes Delta Force operatives and is designed to carry out raids on high profile targets in Iraq.

Military operations in Syria, including a sustained bombing campaign, are believed to be building up to an attack on Raqqa, in the country’s north.

The city has become a base of operations for ISIS and is believed to be home to several of its most prominent figures, including the masked executioner Jihadi John until he was killed in a drone strike last November.

This brings us to verse 84 of the Obama Impeachment song (as if sung by President Barack Hussein Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

I tell ISIS what I’ll do

I micromanage, right on cue.

I gave them their weapons too.

My “loose lips sinks ships”, the way to go.

Is the seal of the County of Los Angeles hateful? A Limerick.

Hate is on the rise. Can you spot the big__542b27ea86ac3-seal

symbol of hate in this Los Angeles

county seal?

The people who say they hate hate

hate more than the ones who just hate.

And their hate for the cross

is their pride, to their loss.

Their hate for God’s love seals their fate.

In a ruling released on April 7, Judge Christina A. Snyder of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California stated that a representation of the historic San Gabriel Mission topped by a tiny cross that was included in the Los Angeles County seal violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, asserting that a “reasonable, objective observer” would see a sectarian purpose in having the cross on the seal, regardless of the official explanation.

The first amendment to the U.S. Constitution states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

The way I read the constitution it is even more wrong to deny or change history. It was the Mission that founded Los Angeles. And if the Mission is offensive and unconstitutional, what about the name Los Angeles (angels)?

One more verse to the Hillary Clinton nursery rhyme: What is top secret?

On Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace rolled a clip from October of Mr. Obama saying that “I can tell you this is not a situation in which America’s national security was endangered.” Mr. Wallace then cited the 2,000 or so emails we have since learned contained classified information, including 22 that included “top secret” information, and he asked: “Can you still say flatly that she did not jeopardize America’s secrets?”

Mr. Obama replied: “I’ve got to be careful because, as you know, there have been investigations, there are hearings, Congress is looking at this. And I haven’t been sorting through each and every aspect of this. Here’s what I know: Hillary Clinton was an outstanding Secretary of State. She would never intentionally put America in any kind of jeopardy.”

This adds one more verse to the Hillary Clinton nursery rhyme:

Hillary, Hillary, where have you been?

“It’s none of your business, for I am the queen.”

………………  more    ……………..

Hillary, Hillary, what is top secret?

“I’m too dumb to know if it hasn’t been marked yet.”

Hillary Clinton: An unborn child, or person does not have constitutional rights! A Limerick.

Who has constitutional rights?

Yes, Hillary knows to pick fights.

Not a child, if unborn,

or a person, if scorn.

In Roe vs. Wade she delights.

In Meet the Press, aired Apr 3 the following exchange took place:

Chuck Todd: When or if does an unborn child have constitutional rights?

Hillary Clinton: Well, under our laws currently, that is not something that exists. The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights. Now, that doesn’t mean that we don’t do everything we possibly can in the vast majority of instances to, you know, help a mother who is carrying a child and wants to make sure that child will be healthy, to have appropriate medical support. It doesn’t mean that, you know, don’t do everything possible to try to fulfil your obligations. But it does not include sacrificing the woman’s right to make decisions. And I think that’s an important distinction that under Roe v. Wade we’ve had refined under our Constitution.

Hillary Clinton stands firmly with the abortion on demand crowd.

The United States of America stands with China, North Korea, Vietnam and Canada to allow elective abortion up to the point of natural birth.

The Netherlands and Singapore prohibit abortion after 24 weeks, the rest of the world prohibit abortion after 20 weeks or earlier.

Verse 82 of the Obama Impeachment song. No Islamic terrorists here!

According to the official White House transcript of Hollande’s remarks, Hollande refers to “Islamist terrorism.” The audio of the bold text in brackets is missing from the video – the only point in the video were the audio is absent:

“We are also making sure that between Europe and the United States there can be a very high level coordination.

“But we’re also well aware that the roots of terrorism, [Islamist terrorism, is in Syria and in Iraq.  We therefore have to act both in Syria and in Iraq, and this is what we’re doing within the framework of the coalition.]  And we note that Daesh is losing ground thanks to the strikes we’ve been able to launch with the coalition.”

The words Islamist terrorism occurring between 4:48 and 4:51 are muted out. Then the rest of the bold text in the above quote reappears in French only, with no translator, and the rest of his comments appear from 5:01.

This is deliberate censorship from a White House that cannot even hear the words Islamic Terrorism spoken from the French President, our ally.

This brings us to verse 82 of the Obama Impeachment song (as if sung by President Barack Hussein Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

Islamic terrorists? Not here

What Hollande said did disappear.

Transcript censored. Do not fear.

My White House decides what you can hear.

Update: The words “Islamist Terrorism”, originally in the White House transcript, then deleted, have now been restored.
