Thought for the day. To vote or not to vote. The height of ignorance.

And he (Kish, a Benjamite) had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people. (1 Samuel 9:2)

The Israelites, after they entered the promised land were told by God not to have any rulers over them except God. But there must be order so they had judges. A few were good, among them Gideon and one woman, Deborah. The country had peace for forty years under their judgeship, but most of the judges were bad. It got so bad they cried out for a king. After a series of events which you can read about in 1 Samuel 8 thru 10 Saul, the tall one was chosen and appointed.

We still tend to elect tall Presidents. To be tall seem to have its advantages, and according to evolutionary thought women tend to be attracted to tall men. Men also respect  other tall men, since they are better at intimidating others. With a larger body comes a larger brain, and according to early evolutionary thought a larger brain means they are further along in evolutionary development than the rest of us.

Evolutionary thought tend to enhance prejudices. One early thought was that since a man’s brain on average is 40% larger than that of a woman, this must be a good reason why women should not be allowed to vote. We now know it to be true, a man’s brain is larger, but a woman’s brain cells are smaller, meaning that the cells communicate faster with each other. While we men take our time to get our threshing machines of brains in gear, a woman’s brain acts like a bolt of lightning, coming up with a plan of action before we even have defined the parameters. They have usually gotten good training dealing with active two or three year olds. An argument could therefore be made a woman would make a better president, having to deal with petulant people like Congress.

Lest this is a praise of women exclusively, they are not without their prejudices. The famous humanist Margaret Sanger, the inspiration to Planned Parenthood, idol of feminists and role model for Hillary Clinton once said:

“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population….”

Choose carefully, look into each candidate’s positions on policy matters, check their character and convictions, then make your decision.

It is the civil duty for every citizen over the age of 18 to cast a vote.

Get involved, get informed!

Only let not height be your choice this year.

Donald Trump, a Carter Democrat?

Title 8, U.S. Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens,

subsection (f). Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline.

This portion of the Federal Laws of the United States, passed in 1952 was used by Jimmy Carter during the Iran Hostage Crisis. He deported most of the Iranian students and other resident aliens from Iran.

The law was passed by a Democrat Congress with Harry Truman as President.

I didn’t know Donald Trump was a Carter Democrat!

Mark Steyn testimony before the Senate, Dec. 8. A Limerick.

On Dec 8 Mark Steyn testified before the U.S. Senate sub-committee on space, science and competitiveness, led by Sen. Ted Cruz.

Mark Steyn on the Climate of Change

in Congress where things are so strange.

Michael Mann with his shtick,

Sheldon Whitehouse’s clique,

heard truth from a Steyn at close range.

The clip is one of the best arguments for sanitation of the climate debate.

Humorous? Yes, Entertaining? Yes, a well delivered rebuke. Listen:

The Iran Nuclear agreement, a treaty between madmen and spineless wimps. A Limerick.

A famous quote from President Obama July 6 in Arlington, Virginia: “We will never be at war with Islam”. The only problem is that the Islamic Jihadists already are at war with us, and have been for almost forty years. Their names keep changing, but their ideology is the same, world dominance by following closely the teachings of Muhammad in the Koran, and the dictates of their leaders.

Dennis_Prager_The_Iran_Nuclear_DealIt is up to Congress to stop these madmen’s Nuclear “agreement”.

“We’ll never wage war with Islam.”

Beheadings will end with salaam

Infidels must be killed

and all people weak willed.

In Congress, they “don’t give a damn.”

Mount McKinley no more. Denali it is. A Limerick.

What once was the mountain McKinleyDenali

is back to its real name Denali.

While Alaska is clean

Middle East is so mean.

They wish they could rename Benghazi.

BenghaziPresident Obama issued an executive order recognizing the name of North Americas Mountain to be Denali.

Alaska has been fighting for this name change for almost fifty years, but the Ohio delegation of Congress has been fighting to keep the name.

For once house speaker Boehner got upset at President Obama’s action.

Congress acts slowly. Not too many years ago President George Washington was promoted to a 5 star General to take effect on July 4, 1976. The act was approved October 11, 1976.

Congress has its priorities, the President has his. Climate Change is the “biggest threat to our national security”.

NOTE: “Denali” was the name assigned to Gov. Sarah Palin by the United States Secret Service during the 2008 campaign. Her husband’s code name, per Secret Service, was “Driller.”

Verse 58 of the Obama impeachment song. O.K the Iran gets nukes deal – or the Dollar is finished.

Verse 58 of the Obama impeachment song. O.K the Iran gets nukes deal – or the Dollar is finished.

On Tuesday U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said at a Reuters Newsmaker event:

“If the United States walks away from the nuclear deal with Iran and demands that its allies comply with U.S. sanctions, a loss of confidence in U.S. leadership could threaten the dollar’s position as the world’s reserve currency”

“If we turn around and nix the deal and then tell them, ‘You’re going to have to obey our rules and sanctions anyway,’ that is a recipe, very quickly … for the American dollar to cease to be the reserve currency of the world,”

This is blackmail. Obama gives away 150 Billion dollars to Iran, after which Iran is free to Nix the deal in 35 days and make nuclear bombs in a couple of months after that, – or, he is willing to negotiate away the dollar as well. Given the Obama team’s excellent negotiating skills, breaking every negotiating rules in the book – what could go wrong?

Which leads to is verse 58 of the Obama impeachment song.  (Imagine it sung by Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”).

I use blackmail every day

make Congress kneel down and obey.

Unless they do as I say

the Dollar is finished – gone away.

Verse 46 of the Obama Impeachment song. No crackdown on sanctuary cities until amnesty.

After a very emotional hearing in Congress from families who had loved ones murdered by illegal aliens it boggles my mind  how Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Sarah Saldaña can be so cold and callous about it by saying they won’t do anything until Congress passes comprehensive immigration reform, which is basically code for amnesty. Sanctuary cities.

A quote:  Sen. David Vitter: “This has been going on for years and you still are not prepared to say that there is ever going to be any negative consequence to those [sanctuary] jurisdictions. When is that going to change?”

Saldaña: “I presume when you all address comprehensive immigration reform; perhaps it can be addressed there.”

Which leads to Verse 46 of the Obama Impeachment song (as if sung by Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

Sanctuary Cities – good.

It shields my comrades in the hood.

I have done all that I could

with help from the Muslim Brotherhood.

And here is the whole impeachment song: https://lenbilen.com/2015/02/25/the-complete-obama-impeachment-song/

The wall of separation between church and state. A Limerick.

GSTS70506 VI-7
GSTS70506 VI-7

“Separation of Church and the State”

is not “Of the Church from the State.”

Let our freedom hold sway

in the politics’ fray.

It is part of our Founders Estate.

President Obama and Hillary Clinton are leading the fight to change our constitutional right of “Freedom of Religion” to “Freedom of Worship” and even “Freedom From Religion.” But from the beginning it was not so.

It is no exaggeration to say that on Sundays in Washington during the administrations of Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809) and of James Madison (1809-1817) the state became the church. Within a year of his inauguration, Jefferson began attending church services in the House of Representatives. Madison followed Jefferson’s example, although unlike Jefferson, who rode on horseback to church in the Capitol, Madison came in a coach and four. Worship services in the House–a practice that continued until after the Civil War–were acceptable to Jefferson because they were nondiscriminatory and voluntary. Preachers of every Protestant denomination appeared. (Catholic priests began officiating in 1826.) As early as January 1806 a female evangelist, Dorothy Ripley, delivered a camp meeting-style exhortation in the House to Jefferson, Vice President Aaron Burr, and a “crowded audience.” Throughout his administration Jefferson permitted church services in executive branch buildings. The Gospel was also preached in the Supreme Court chambers.

Jefferson’s actions may seem surprising because his attitude toward the relation between religion and government is usually thought to have been embodied in his recommendation that there exist “a wall of separation between church and state.” In that statement, Jefferson was apparently declaring his opposition, as Madison had done in introducing the Bill of Rights, to a “national” religion. In attending church services on public property, Jefferson and Madison consciously and deliberately were offering symbolic support to religion as a prop for republican government.

Thomas Jefferson’s reply of January 1, 1802, to an address of congratulations from the Danbury (Connecticut) Baptist Association contains a phrase familiar in today’s political and judicial circles: “a wall of separation between church and state.” Many in the United States, including the courts, have used this phrase to interpret the Founders’ intentions regarding the relationship between government and religion, as set down by the First Amendment to the Constitution: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion . . . .” However, the meaning of this clause has been the subject of passionate dispute for the past fifty years.

Verse 45 of the Obama impeachment song. U.N. approves the Iran treaty without Congress approval.

Verse 45 of the Obama impeachment song (as if sung by Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

U.N. must decide our fate.

Congress always acts to late.

On this deal I took the bait.

It’s World War III soon, I cannot wait.

The bill on the trade Trans-Pacific

defeated in Congress: Terrific.

It was more like a pact

to lose freedoms – a fact.

Obama as leader – Horrific.
