Neonicotinoid pesticides were first registered for use in the mid-1990s. Since then, these chemicals have become widely adopted for use on farm crops, ornamental landscape plants, and trees. Neonicotinoids (AKA neonics) are systemic chemicals; they are absorbed by the plant and are transferred through the vascular system, making the plant itself toxic to insects.
The impact of this class of insecticides on pollinating insects such as honey bees and native bees is a cause for concern. Because they are absorbed into the plant, neonics can be present in pollen and nectar, making these floral resources
toxic to pollinators that feed on them. The long lasting presence of neonics in plants makes it possible for these chemicals to harm pollinators even when the initial application is made outside of the bloom period. In addition, neonics
persist in the soil and in plants for very long periods of time.
About 95 percent of all commercial U.S. corn and canola crops and most all commercial cotton, sorghum, sugar beets, fruits. vegetables, berries, leafy greens, and cereal grains are treated with neonics.
 Neonics affect the nervous system of the bees making them disoriented and simply disappear rather than finding their way back to the hive. Are neonics poisonous to humans? Probably not since no birds or animals seem to be affected, but the loss of our major pollinators, it is still an ecological catastrophe. The previous way of protecting the seeds with mercury was far more serious, nearly exterminating owls and eagles. EPA needs to immediately ban the use of neonics in orchards and other places where bee borne pollination is taking place. By majoring in climate change, calling CO2 a pollutant and spending an inordinate amount of limited resources going after the wrong targets. They should concentrate on real pollution.

No wonder the Obama administration claimed executive privilege and refusing to release the documents to Congress!

MLK day in South Carolina. A Limerick.

COLUMBIA, S.C.— Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders spent Martin Luther King Jr. Day courting African-American voters in South Carolina, laying the groundwork for next month’s consequential primary in the tightening Democratic presidential campaign. (Martin O’Malley was also there).

Hillary Clinton celebrated that she no longer had to look at the confederate flag flying over the Capitol grounds. Bernie Sanders gestured widely toward the statue of George Washington.

What a difference from MLK Day in Columbia, S.C. 2011!The annual MLK observance at the state house BoxedinGeorge2in Columbia SC then had an interesting twist. The event was held on the north side steps of the statehouse. Prominent at that location is a large bronze statue of George Washington. In 2011, the NAACP constructed a “box” to hide the Father of Our Country from view so that participants would not be offended by his image.

Verse 79 of the Obama Impeachment song. The Iran deal ensuring a nuclear race.

WASHINGTON — President Obama said Sunday with  regard to the just completed nuclear deal with Iran.

“This is a good day, because once again we’re seeing what’s possible with strong American diplomacy….Yesterday marked a milestone in preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon…..Most important of all, we achieved this historic progress through diplomacy, without resorting to another war in the Middle East.”

Nothing could be further from the truth. It ensures a Mid East nuclear arms race.

According to an article in Iran Watch (http://www.iranwatch.org/our-publications/articles-reports/irans-nuclear-timetable) Iran has enough Uranium to make a number of Nuclear bombs in a very short time.

Using their 6000+ centrifuges agreed to under this contract they can produce 1 nuclear bomb in 1 year assuming they only use the 5060 Ir-1 centrifuges allowed to be operated under the contract and use only natural Uranium as fuel (0.7% U235).

If they use all 9000 now running reactors they can produce 1 bomb in 6.8 months. In fact, they have been running them since negotiations began and have now stockpiled enough reactor grade Uranium (3.5% U235) to be able to produce 7 Nuclear bombs.

If they were to break the contract, and why wouldn’t they as soon as they get their 150 Billion dollars released, they are free after 35 days to use all 9000 centrifuges to produce weapons grade Uranium at the rate of 1 bomb every seven weeks.

They also have 1080 IR-2 centrifuges currently not yet operating, far more efficient than the IR- 1 centrifuges ready to be started up.

In addition they have enough 20% enriched Uranium in the form of yellow cake. This used to be UraniumHexaFlouride gas, ready for further enrichment. According to the agreement it was “neutralized” into yellow cake so it couldn’t be further enriched. It takes less than two weeks to convert it back to gas, and another two weeks to enrich it to weapons grade Uranium. They have enough of this to make 1 bomb.

So, this is why the Mullahs exclaimed: We Won!

Their time table is: Get the money, wait a few weeks then break the contract.

The first bomb is ready less than 1 month later, after that, 1 bomb every seven weeks!

And then again, who is to say that they do not already have nuclear bombs? Deep down in mountains are their military “research” facilities dug down, impervious to normal bombs, with radiation shielding doors so no external measurements can be made by nuclear inspectors. In a side deal, which has not been made public it is rumored the Iranians are going to do the inspection themselves to assure all is above board and no cheating occurs.

And Iran had “observers” at the latest North Korean nuclear test!

This brings us to verse 79 of the Obama Impeachment song (as if sung by President Barack Hussein Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)

The State of the Union message: A limerick.

President Obama gave a rambling speech about his failures of the last seven years, and coated them in a coat of a call for unity to accelerate the pace of progress as he sees it… rambling on and on…

Most of the attendees, especially the military,  sat stone-faced.

Bill Clinton, Bill Cosby, a pair;

As predators out on a dare.

The adorers en masse

gave the rapists a pass

and proclaimed: It was just an affair.

A person, who shall remain anonymous since he has set his comment space to “private” commented: This limerick of yours wasn’t funny the first time you posted it. This story is a serious situation and not an appropriate time for comic relief.

This Limerick is not meant to be funny but thought provoking, and it must have worked,  since he remembered and took offense at my posting it more than once. That is the power of verse, the cadence, rhymes and alliterations  make  it easier to remember. The only thing more powerful is if it is set to music.

As to comparing Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby, this is fair game. They are both serial predators.

All predators, whether straight, LGBT, Muslim or Child are abhorrent to me.

In the Case of Bill Clinton and his enabler Hillary Clinton and their enablers, the MSM media, the Democrats and some Republicans I do not hesitate to call it for what it is: Sin. If they do not believe in God I will have to call it pure evil.

I guess that makes me a bigot, but at least an equal opportunity bigot.

Allen West (R-FL), and many other top military analyst who believe that the deaths of 15 members of SEAL Team Six on August 6, 2011 in Afghanistan is a massive Clinton-Obama cover-up that is far bigger than Benghazi.
