Forgive, the life changing message.

The folks that forgive here on Earth

have treasures of heavenly worth.

For as Christ did forgive

on the Cross, they might live.

In His death, He proclaimed the new birth!

And this, my dear friends is why the Cross,  Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection is an offense to the non-believer.

They refuse to acknowledge sin, and cannot grasp the Christian concept of forgiveness: Because He forgave us, we too must forgive, and in so doing become more like Christ.

It was in Antioch, Syria they were first called Christians. It was meant as a derogatory term, but the believers were it proudly, and it took. It survived through the early persecutions through love and forgiveness. Many were martyred for their beliefs, but through their testimonies the Church grew stronger.

The times of persecutions have returned. There are now more people martyred yearly then at any time in history. We are seeing it in so many ways. Yet, true Christians forgive. We have been given many examples of true Christian forgiveness. Let me mention just two:

On October 2, 2006, a shooting occurred at the West Nickel Mines School, an Amish one-room schoolhouse in the Old Order Amish community of Nickel Mines, a village in Bart Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Gunman Charles Carl Roberts IV took hostages and shot ten girls (aged 6–13), killing five, and wounded the rest, some very severely, before committing suicide in the schoolhouse. It received worldwide attention, and press and TV reporters descended on the small community. The Amish responded like they always do, mostly silence. The wife of the murderer was invited and went to the funeral of at least one of the girls. The Amish message was consistent, forgive and choose to not remember the offense. To that effect the one room schoolhouse was torn down, the privys and the fence removed and the ground plowed. A week later there was no indication there ever was a schoolhouse there. Another  schoolhouse was built nearby. This act of forgiveness was broadcast over the whole world. It even reached the Kurds of Iraq. A pastor, a couple of Amish believers and a  Christian psycho therapist were invited to Iraq to speak with the Governor and some doctors about this concept of forgiveness. They were then invited to teach about the healing effect of forgiveness to a multitude of health care professionals. Their message was given, and accepted by the Kurds. Only in Christ can we find forgiveness and be able to forgive.  The Kurdish doctors accepted their message with awe, this forgiveness is unknown in Islam.

At the bond hearing June 17, 2015 of Dylann Roof, the murderer of 9 in Emanuel AME Church in Charleston S.C. something very unusual occurred. One after another of the family members of the victims stood up and proclaimed their deep sorrow for what had happened, but they forgave him in Christ, prayed for his soul and asked him to repent and turn to Christ. This was Christian living in action.

No such forgiveness exists among the secular people, nor can it be found in any other religion, especially not in Islam. They still have not got over the loss of Spain. Yet the Christian message of forgiveness has survived nearly two thousand years, from Christ’s words on the Cross “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” to Stephens exclamation “Lord, do not hold this sin against them” when  he was stoned to death as the first Martyr. This message will be victorious even in the coming battle.

Congress stands up to Obama on Trans-Pacific trade deal. A Limerick.

The bill on the trade Trans-Pacific

defeated in Congress: Terrific.

It was more like a pact

to lose freedoms – a fact.

Obama as leader – Horrific.

The Veterans Administration, a model for Government Healthcare? Obama promised so in 2008. A Limerick.

The Veterans waiting lists grow.

Obama can no longer crow

about healthcare reform.

Wait for months is the norm

for some it is six feet below…..

Remember that Obama was going to reform VA and make it a model of health care so that when Obamacare failed he could point to the perfect system and transition everybody into “People’s Healthcare Administration”.

This is a statement from Obama in 2008:
“Make the VA a leader of national health care reform. … This includes efforts to improve electronic records interoperability, expand effectiveness research, promote wellness programs, and instill more accountability for performance and quality improvement initiatives.”

Well, at least they claim healthcare.gov is working. That should encourage our veterans.

The U.S. economy shrank by 0.7% in first quarter due to lack of Global Warming. A Limerick.

The U.S. economy shrank by 0.7 in the first quarter of 2015 as harsh weather dampened consumer spending and energy companies struggling with low prices slashed spending.

Gross domestic product contracted at a 0.7% percent annual rate, the Commerce Department said Thursday, coming dangerously close to a recession.  That was a big step down from the fourth quarter’s 2.2 percent rise and does not bode well for the rest of the year.

This winter’s cold Climate Disruption

has caused a big growth interruption.

When it’s warm it is good

makes the plants grow more food.

This CO2 scare: Just corruption.

CO2 concentration has increased from about 280 ppm in pre-industrial times to over 400 ppm today, and is increasing at a rate of 2 ppm per year. We are way past the point of no return, 350 ppm which would lead to a temperature catastrophe. But instead, something rather interesting is occurring. The earth is getting greener! This 40 % increase in CO2 the last 250 years has led to a more than 30 % increase in agricultural production all by itself without adding fertilizer or using higher yielding seeds. Thanks to this we can now feed an additional two billion people on earth without starvation. The news are so good, that the per capita food production is increasing, even as the population is increasing.

Look at it this way. The value of basic agricultural products is more than 1.5 trillion dollars worldwide. 30% of that is due to increased CO2. That means that the CO2 emitted is worth 450 billion dollars, spread out over all farmers and ranchers worldwide. This wealth transfer is occurring right now, and knows no national boundary. It is a gift from the developed countries to the rest of the world. Who could be against that?

It turns out that this wealth transfer occurs without global governance. The leaders of the world will not have their say in who gets the wealth transfer, the U.N. bureaucrats will not get their cut, and politicians cannot get a campaign issue since it occurs without their involvement.

The Bosch Fawstin cartoon of Muhammad. A Limerick.

If “You cannot draw me” means fiefdom

then “That’s why I draw you” is wisdom.

This Bosch Fawstin cartoon

does Muhammad lampoon.

Islam* means to stamp out our freedom.

Islam means submission. It originally meant submission to the will of God, but has morphed into submission to Sharia law as interpreted by the local governments, the Mullahs, the Imams and above all the Caliph.

The Koran does not forbid drawing pictures of Muhammad. In 1935 a fresco relief of Moses, Muhammad, Confucius, Hammurabi and others was put up in the U.S Supreme Court building, and nobody objected.. The idea that all images must be destroyed came from the Taliban and they destroyed among other things the Buddhas of Bamiyan  in March 2001 by the Taliban, on orders from leader Mullah Mohammed Omar, after the Taliban government declared that they were idols.

Freedom of religion and speech must be defended at all cost, and Bosch Fawstin has asked his prize winning cartoon to be widely distributed, since the official media is not doing it and his Facebook page is taken down.

Christian nun from Nineveh denied visa to testify before Congress. A Limerick. Update: Visa granted thanks to pressure from the American People.

Sister-Diana-MomekaA Nineveh nun fled from ISIS,

deny her a visa not wise is.

For she would testify

before Congress, and why

Islam – Peace the biggest of lies is.

Background:

A leading conservative is asking why the Obama State Department is barring a persecuted Iraqi nun from entry into the United States to share her message about the brutal treatment of Christians in her country.

Nina Shea of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, writes in a National Review op-ed that Sister Diana Momeka is “an internationally respected and leading representative of the Nineveh Christians who have been killed and deported by ISIS.”

Yet this nun is being “barred from coming to Washington to testify about this catastrophe?”

Sister Diana was the only Christian in the delegation and the only member blocked from the trip, the Washington Times reported, leading some of her American supporters to question why she was singled out.

Shea, in her op-ed titled “With Malice Toward Nun,” exposed the real reason why Obama denied the visa for Sister Diana.

“Sister Diana Momeka of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine of Siena was informed on Tuesday by the U.S. consulate in Erbil that her non-immigrant-visa application has been rejected.

“The reason given in the denial letter, a copy of which I have obtained, is:
‘You were not able to demonstrate that your intended activities in the United States would be consistent with the classification of the visa.’”

Update: Pressure from outraged Newsmax TV viewers and others has forced the State Department to reverse course and grant a visa allowing an Iraqi nun into the United States to speak out about “Christian genocide” in the Middle East, author Johnnie Moore revealed Friday on “Newsmax Prime.”

In an interview with host J.D. Hayworth, Moore credited Newsmax TV viewers with helping to put enormous pressure on the Obama administration to allow Dominican Sister Diana Momeka to come to Washington to talk about the persecution of Christians in her war-torn nation.

“Newsmax made the first call to contact government officials, and I’m absolutely convinced that we wouldn’t have seen the response that we saw had Newsmax not stepped up. I’m incredibly grateful for what you did,” Moore said.

A Limerick comparison of Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin.

53f82430-c81f-11e4-a165-e55b7a241106_11034188_10153163784443588_4613146623286960Who fears Sarah Palin? Elite, left and right.

That leaves us the people. Oh, what a delight.

With Clinton the dimwit*

and Palin the true grit.

The choice is quite clear and the fight is a sight.

*Definitions of dimwit:

1: A person looking up the word “dimwit” in a dictionary not knowing what it means.

2: Someone with crazy ideas that could be considered dangerous

3: Someone who doesn’t know what she is doing

4: Someone who does things just to gain acceptance from others, not because she is a real personality.

A couple of observations. Sarah Palin released all her official e-mails, both public and private, a total of 41935 (24199 + 17736)

There was nothing unlawful or even embarrassing about any of them. They showed a hard working Governor, working for the people of Alaska, using descriptive words that encourage both creativity and loyalty. She did not blame others, but remedied situations most effectively.

Hillary Clinton on the other hand used exclusively a personal server in violation of Government rules, professionally set up and maintained with proper backups. After being asked by Congress to provide all pertinent e-mails to Congress she deleted 30000+ “personal” e-mails. And not only that, she had the server professionally wiped clean, and one can only assume the professionally maintained backups were destroyed too. Incidentally, all her e-mails during the Benghazi crisis were “personal.”

Hillary okayed sale of Uranium mine to Russia for a donation and a honorarium.

So Hillary sold our Uranium

for cash and a huge honorarium.

Putin sells to Iran

yellow cake, with no ban.

Is anything left in her cranium?

This sheds new light on her “Reset” with Russia.

A trip down memory lane from Geneva March 2009.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton opened her first extended talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov by giving himperegruzka a present meant to symbolize the Obama administration’s vow to “press the reset button” on U.S.-Russia relations.

She handed a palm-sized box wrapped with a bow. Lavrov opened it and pulled out the gift: a red button on a black base with a Russian word peregruzka printed on top.

“We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?” Clinton asked.

“You got it wrong,” Lavrov said.

Instead of “reset,” Lavrov said the word on the box meant “overcharge.”peregruzkareset

Clinton and Lavrov laughed.

“We won’t let you do that to us,” she said.

It doesn’t say ПЕРЕГРУЗКА on the button, it says PEREGRUZKA. The mistranslation is bad enough, but using Roman letters instead of Cyrillic? What was going on? Didn’t anyone realize they use a different alphabet over there? There are two possible explanations: Ignorance, or arrogance on the part of the Hillary Clinton State Department. I know  Hillary Clinton has demonstrated plenty of both in statements such as: “What difference does it make?”

How has this reset worked out for us? Besides Iran, Syria, Turkey, Hezbollah, Libya, Pakistan, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and many other countries where U.S. and Russia have opposing interests, and Poland where we plainly sold out the missile defense, we are in a pickle on two fronts:

1. Space exploration.

Since Obama made it NASA’s highest priority to promote the contributions of Islam to science and the scrapping of the space shuttle program with no replacements in sight we are totally dependent on Russia to ferry our astronaut scientists to and from the space station.

Russia is doing the rational thing: Tripling the fees from $22 million to  $71 million to transport just one American astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard its Soyuz spacecraft in 2016. –

2. Uranium. By selling 20% of our Uranium to Russia via a Canadian Corporation in exchange for a large donation to the Clinton Foundation and a half million dollar speaking fee for Bill Clinton, this has left us vulnerable to extortion, since we are a net importer of Uranium for our electricity production. National security is at risk.

Maybe Hillary really meant “Overcharge” instead of reset? Hillary, as well as Obama seem to love to give money to our adversaries instead of caring about our economy at home.

Hillary’s “distractions” vs. Sarah Palin’s actions. A Limerick

Are Hillary’s crimes a distraction?

With Polls slipping she’s losing traction.

Sarah Palin has time

as she enters her prime.

The race will be teeming with action.

From American Thinker on Sarah Palin “Achiever of the year 2014”:
It would be the height of churlishness for even the most inveterate leftist to deny the import of someone who made Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” list, and then the Smithsonian Institution’s “100 Most Significant Americans Of All Time” list. Both affirmations were earned by former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

To then accept Governor Palin as “American Achiever of the Year 2014″ would be for most, if not all on the left (and to be fair, many in the GOP) no doubt a bridge too far. However, such partisanship should not stand in the way of a general acknowledgement of what was a remarkable year for Palin.

[…]

Governor Palin endorsed 22 candidates for various offices during the midterm finals, including senators, governors, lieutenant governors, congressmen, and attorneys general. Of those so endorsed, an incredible 20 were elected – contrasted with, for example, Hillary Clinton’s record of 8 wins out 24 endorsed candidates

[…]

For all her detractors’ cries of “irrelevance” and “she’s just a reality show entertainer” (those two being among the nicer epithets), Palin goes on, election cycle after election cycle, populating Congress with her endorsed candidates in a cost-effective manner, and in such numbers that the likes of Karl Rove with his 1% success rate can surely view only with hidden admiration, if not downright envy.

[…]

In 2014, Governor Palin is deservedly the “Achiever of The Year.”
