May 22 read through the Holy Bible in a year in Power-point, with comments.

Tomorrow we begin reading Paul’s letter to the Romans, but for today we read two Psalms and one chapter in 1 Kings.

May 22: Psalm 35, Psalm 36, 1 Kings 18 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Psalm 35, of David. An urgent call for God to execute His righteous judgment on the enemies of God and vindicate David.

Psalm 36, of David, the Servant of the LORD. This Psalm also tells of wicked people, but then shows the mercies of God and ends up with David recognizing that without God’s protection he too is vulnerable as are we all.

1 Kings 18. This chapter alone makes the reading of 1 Kings up to now worthwhile. Elijah met Obadiah and sent a message to King Ahab. When they met, Elijah challenged Ahab to a competition: Four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and four hundred prophets of Asherah against Elijah alone on Mount Carmel to see whose God is victorious! You know the rest, enjoy reading!

Today, still in between the Acts of the Apostles and Paul’s letter to the Romans we are reading two Psalms one chapter in 1 Kings.

May 21: Psalm 33, Psalm 34, 1 Kings 17 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Psalm 33, is a Psalm about the sovereignty of God in creation and history. Here and in many other places of the Bible it encourages us to “sing a new song”.

Psalm 34, of David. This Psalm is an almost acrostic psalm (except for the letter waw). Like many acrostic Psalms, this is to be sung and memorized as it is full of praise and good advice. It contains one notable prophetic reference: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken.”

1 Kings 17. With Baal worship in full swing Elijah prayed fo a multi-year drought. He then went into the wilderness by a brook and was fed by ravens. But the brook dried up so he went to a widow in Zarephath. He asks her for water and some bread. That was the last of the flower she had, but she gave it to Elijah anyway. Later the widow’s son died and Elijah revived him. The jar of flour and the jug of oil never emptied as long as Elijah was in the house, miracle upon miracle!

Today we are reading one chapter of Proverbs and three chapters in 1 Kings, taking a pause between the Acts of the Apostles and the letter of Paul to the Romans.

May 20: Proverbs 6, 1 Kings 14, 1 Kings 15, 1 Kings 16 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Proverbs 6 warns against cosigning documents with neighbors, condemns sluggards of their sleepy and lazy habits and points to the destruction of wicked men. It tells about seven detestable things to the LORD, and finally it takes a dim view of adultery, a sure way to destroy yourself and others.

Not much good in 1 Kings 14, it tells of judgment on the house of Jeroboam and his death, and Rehoboam taking over power and his death.

1 Kings 15, the evil king Abijam reigned in Judah. After his death Asa became king over Judah and he was a good king. Meanwhile in Israel Nadab reigned, and after him Baasha both doing evil things in the eyes of the LORD.

1 Kings 16 displays a depressing list of kings over Israel, Baasha, Elah, Zimri, one worse the the other, finally culminating with Ahab, the worst of them all, setting up Baal worship in Israel.

In between the Acts of the Apostles and Paul’s latter to the Romans we read today two Psalms and two chapters in 1 Kings.

May 19: Psalm 31, Psalm 32, 1 Kings 12, 1 Kings 13 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Psalm 31, of David. As was so often the case, David was in trouble. He cried out his woes to God, and yet, the Psalm ends with praise and total confidence in God.

Psalm 32, of David. “This was Saint Augustine’s favorite psalm. Augustine had it inscribed on the wall next to his bed before he died in order to meditate on it better.” (James Montgomery Boice)

1 Kings 12 tells of the revolt against Rehoboam and Jeroboam’s Golden Calves at Bethel and Dan so he didn’t have to go to Jerusalem to sacrifice.

1 Kings 13. From Judah came a Man of God with a message. It did not go over well, so through lies and intrigues the Man of God was killed by a lion. One quote from this chapter: “After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.” Large portions of the Old Testament describes how not to worship, let this be a warning for us.

President Trump is taking hydroxychloroquine! The international results are overwhelming, he is right!

In 2005 Dr. Anthony Fauci,the director of the (NIAID) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, a position he still holds received the encouraging news that Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread. The SARS epidemic petered out, ao the clinical trial was never executed.

Now the news about the efficacy of HydroxyChloroquine is coming in hot and heavy. The results are very encouraging. This is from a recent study in Marseilles, France:

We retrospectively report on 1061 SARS-CoV-2 positive tested patients treated for at least three days with the following regimen: HCQ (200 mg three times daily for ten days) + AZ (500 mg on day 1 followed by 250 mg daily for the next four days). Outcomes were death, clinical worsening (transfer to ICU, and >10 day hospitalization) and viral shedding persistence (>10 days).

Results

A total of 1061 patients were included in this analysis (46.4% male, mean age 43.6 years – range 14–95 years). Good clinical outcome and virological cure were obtained in 973 patients within 10 days (91.7%). Prolonged viral carriage was observed in 47 patients (4.4%) and was associated to a higher viral load at diagnosis (p < .001) but viral culture was negative at day 10. All but one, were PCR-cleared at day 15. A poor clinical outcome (PClinO) was observed for 46 patients (4.3%) and 8 died (0.75%) (74–95 years old). All deaths resulted from respiratory failure and not from cardiac toxicity. Five patients are still hospitalized (98.7% of patients cured so far). PClinO was associated with older age (OR 1.11), severity of illness at admission (OR 10.05) and low HCQ serum concentration. PClinO was independently associated with the use of selective beta-blocking agents and angiotensin II receptor blockers (p < .05). A total of 2.3% of patients reported mild adverse events (gastrointestinal or skin symptoms, headache, insomnia and transient blurred vision).

Conclusion

Administration of the HCQ+AZ combination before COVID-19 complications occur is safe and associated with a very low fatality rate in patients.

Since then, prescriptions for the drug cocktail in Marseilles is up 7000%, and is also increasing in the rest of France, especially the Paris region.

But France is by no means the first country to go all out prescribing the drug cocktail. At least twelve countries are doing it, and Turkey and Morocco prescribe it to all with COVID-19 symptoms ( after first checking their heart). Russia joined six weeks later. Here are the results:

If we look at the results from onset to today, some interesting facts stand out

Turkey: Death rate 50 per million. ratio of recovered cases/death is 37

Morocco: Death rate 5 per million. ratio of recovered cases/death is 19.6

Russia: Death rate 19 per million. ratio of recovered cases/death is 19.6 and rising, but they started six weeks later and have not yet reached their infection maximum.

France: Death rate 433 per million. ratio of recovered cases/death is 2.2, but their new case maximum was 11 weeks ago and the maximum death rate was 9 weeks ago, way before any prescriptions increased.

U.S. does not do an even job of reporting recovered cases, so the results will only be valid for some states. Michigan seems to be one state that records recoveries.

Michigan: Death rate 492 per million. ratio of recovered cases/death is 5.7

The best state is South Dakota, but there Governor Kristi Noem conducted a semi clinical (not double blind) trial, and the results speak for themselves.

South Dakota: Death rate 50 per million. ratio of recovered cases/death is 63.27 !!

My suggestion is this: Give the HCQ+ AZT + Zinc +Vitamin D for 5 days as soon as symptoms occur. Give HZQ + Zinc + Vitamin D for 5 days to all the infected person’s contacts, then their quarantine is over, otherwise it is 14 days. Check for heart rhythm problems, but otherwise go ahead.

The results from Turkey + Russia + Morocco involved more than 170,000 recovered cases, far more than any clinical study, and showed the effect both before and after HCQ became the drug of choice, so the effect is real enough!

May 18: Psalm 29, Psalm 30, 1 Kings 9, 1 Kings 10, 1 Kings 11 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Psalm 29, of David. A song of praise. This Psalm gives us a vivid description of a storm, and how the voice of God speaks through it.

Psalm 30, for the dedication of the Temple. Of David. ( An alternate translation : For the dedication of the House of David.) It was written for the dedication of David’s palace, but Charles Spurgeon thought that it was actually written prophetically for the dedication of the Temple – which David prepared for, but Solomon built. You decide.

1 Kings 9 tells of God’s Second Appearance to Solomon, this time with a promise and a warning. Solomon and Hiram exchanged gifts and it records more of Solomon’s achievements.

In 1 Kings 10 the Queen of Sheba visited Solomon and praised him “The half had not been told”; of Solomon’s great wisdom and wealth, that is.

1 Kings 11 Solomon’s heart turned from the LORD, ( blame the foreign women with their idolatry). It records Solomon’s adversaries, Jeroboam’s rebellion, and Solomon’s death.

Today we read the final chapter in the Acts of the Apostles and one chapter in 1 Kings.

May 17: Acts 28, 1 Kings 8 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Acts 28 records Paul’s ministry on Malta and his final sailing to Rome. After Paul arrived in Rome it tells of Paul’s ministry there, and he stayed there two full years.

1 Kings 8. It was celebration time when the Ark was brought into the Temple, Solomon gave a great speech and a prayer of dedication. Then he blessed the Assembly and dedicated the Temple with lots of sacrifices and it finished with a fourteen day feast.

Sweden is leading the way. Throw out the Chinese infiltrators!

Sweden is a globalist country. Ever since Dag Hammarskjöld was Secretary of the U.N. Sweden has advocated leadership in foreign aid and is leading the world in foreign aid as a percentage of GNP (1.45% in 2015). They welcome immigrants and refugees, the foreign born population is now over 20%. When the coronavirus outbreak started in Wuhan, China, Sweden pitched in and sent over 100,000 masks to help out.

All of this changed when the Chinese quarantined over 50 million people in and around Wuhan, prevented all travel within China to and from the guaranteed provinces but allowed international travel to continue in and out of Wuhan International Airport, thereby spreading the Wuhan virus worldwide, but stopping it within China. When the virus hit Sweden they tried to replenish their protection equipment they found out that China had mopped up nearly all supplies from the whole world and was now reselling them at scalpers’ prices, if they were available at all.

This did not sit well with the Swedes, they have now abolished all sister city arrangements with China, the last to go was the Gothenburg – Shanghai arrangement. Gone are also the Confucius institutes, and finally the last Confucius classroom in the little town of Falkenberg.

We should do the same thing. San Francisco has a sister city arrangement with Shanghai, Pittsburgh has one with Wuhan, and so on. Suspend them all! Likewise abolish all Confucius Institutes, and they are legion

Besides providing Chinese propaganda they are a major source of “information gathering.” The Chinese people are wonderful, but before they are sent off to the U.S. to study they must swear loyalty to the Communist Government, and so the Confucius Institutes are in reality low level spy operations.

Today we read the next to last chapter of the Acts of the Apostles, and two chapters in 1 Kings.

May 16: Acts 27, 1 Kings 6 , 1 Kings 7 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Acts 27 starts with Paul’s Voyage to Rome, how the winds were contrary and made the journey last into the stormy season. Paul’s warning was ignored, and sure enough a great storm grew up and they were shipwrecked on Malta, but all got safely ashore.

1 Kings 6 retells in great detail how Solomon had the Temple built.

And the retelling continues in 1 Kings 7 how Solomon had his palace and the other buildings built. He hired Hiram the Craftsman, and he completed the bronze pillars for the Temple, the Sea and the Oxen, The Carts and the Lavers and had all the temple furnishings made.

Today we read one chapter in the Acts of the Apostles, and two chapters in 1 Kings.

May 15: Acts 26, 1 Kings 4, 1 Kings 5, (click on the chapter to begin reading)

Acts 26. Paul gave his testimony, recounted his early life, his conversion and his life as a Christian. Festus shouted “Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad” but Agrippa said “Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.”

1 Kings 4 retells Solomon’s administration, gives an account of Solomon’s prosperity and extols Solomon’s wisdom.

1 Kings 5. The wars had ended and Solomon prepared to build the Temple, as was promised.
