September 25: Reading the Holy Bible in a year.

1 Thessalonians 1. After the customary greetings the Apostle Paul gave thanks for the Thessalonians’ good example.”Ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God.”

Jeremiah 14. There was to come drought, sword, famine and pestilence. The people pleaded for mercy.

Jeremiah 15. More calamities awaited the people, for the LORD will not relent. Jeremiah felt dejected, but the Lord reassured Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 16 tells of the Day of Disaster and ends with the promise that God will restore Israel.
