Obama was right! The sea levels are beginning to drop. A call to action.

In a campaign speech Jun 2 2008, in all humility candidate Obama said this:

The journey will be difficult. The road will be long. I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. But I also face it with limitless faith in the capacity of the American people. Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on earth. This was the moment—this was the time—when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves and our highest ideals. Thank you, God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America.

Well, what do you know? The sea levels are beginning to drop in 2010.

(1) Thank you Obama that  the global temperatures are beginning to drop.

(2) Thank you Obama that the excessive heat caused by human activity are beginning to rain out in Australia and Brazil, central Europe and many other places. Thank you Obama for delaying and diminishing Solar Cycle 24, allowing record amounts of Cosmic radiation to reach the earth, giving us more clouds, rain and snow, thereby cooling the planet.

(3) Thank you Obama for protecting our land from all further development, so that our standard of living can be more in line with third world countries.

(4) Thank you Obama for your tireless efforts to usher in Global Governance through Article 21, Cap and trade legislation, giving us mercury lightbulbs that splat mercury all over the nursery when they break, working to sign the Children’s protection act, The Law of the Sea Treaty and everything else coming from the wise leadership of the United Nations.

Thank you Obama for your tireless efforts to protect a woman’s right to choose by denying Federal Funding to doctors and hospitals that have moral qualms about aborting the lives of yet to be born babies, and providing federal funding for abortions.

Again, where would we be, and what could we do without you? Could a return to abiding by constitutional principles change anything? Could reining in a multitude of czars, putting them under congressional oversight rather than giving them carte blance to implement regulation of laws that have not been read before passed prevent some of this? By doing nothing, will all this go away?

But yet, there is hope. As God says through the Prophet Jeremiah in Lamentations 3:21-23 (King James Version) 21This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. 22It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. 23They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. And again, a call to action: 2 Chronicles 7:14 (King James Version) 14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Climate Change: A Homeland security matter. A Limerick.

Napolitano Says DHS to Begin Battling Climate Change as Homeland Security Issue.

Friday, December 17, 2010 By J. Brady Howell Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr) (CNSNews.com)

– At an all-day White House conference on “environmental justice,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that her department is creating a new task force to battle the effects of climate change on domestic security operations.

Speaking at the first White House Forum on Environmental Justice on Thursday, Napolitano discussed the initial findings of the department’s recently created “Climate Change and Adaptation Task Force.”

Napolitano explained that the task force was charged with “identifying and assessing the impact that climate change could have on the missions and operations of the Department of Homeland Security.” According to the former Arizona governor, the task force would address specific questions, including: “How will FEMA work with state and local partners to plan for increased flooding or wildfire or hurricane activity that is more serious than we’ve seen before? What assistance can the Coast Guard bring to bear to assist remote villages in, for example, Alaska which already have been negatively affected by changes up in the Arctic?”

The findings from the Homeland Security Department (DHS) also asked: “(H)ow can we focus on how climate change is going to affect our rural citizenry including those who live along our borders both northern and southern?” …

The conference did not define “environmental justice,” and the only reference to the task force that can be found is on the DHS Web site. The June 2010 Department of Homeland Security Strategic Sustainability Performance Plan states “climate change has the potential to accelerate and intensify extreme weather events which threaten the nation’s sustainability and security.”

The Limerick:

Homeland Security guards our peace,

But lumberjacks terrorize forests with ease.

 Why in such a hurry?

I tell you, don’t worry.

With Carbon Dioxide we’ll grow some more trees.

Obama the arrogant. A Limerick.

President Obama the Most “Arrogant” Man He Ever Met

You may recall that during President Obama’s vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, on August 27 2010 he took in a round of golf at the Vineyard Golf Club in Edgartown, playing golf with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Democratic lawyer, business man and éminence grise Vernon Jordan; and White House trip director (and former golf pro) Marvin Nicholson. The pool report at the time said that “We are told Bloomberg and Obama talked in the clubhouse for about 15 mins about the economy. They then went to the driving range.”

Apparently – at least from a second-hand report – the Obama-Bloomberg convo could have gone better.

In an interview with The Australian Financial Review, conservative media magnate Rupert Murdoch says ”Bloomberg said it was a pleasant day. In conversation he put a few ideas … He said it was like verbal ping pong.” Bloomberg, according to Murdoch, “came back and said ‘I never met in my life such an arrogant man’.”

The Limerick:

“The most arrogant man I have ever met

is Obama” said Bloomberg and showed no regret.

For they chatted a while

without breaking a smile.

“T’was like the proverbial ping-pong set.”

G20 in Seoul, South Korea, Nov 11-12, 2010. A Limerick.

Quote from the G20 summit is Seoul, South Korea Nov 11-12 2010. “With little being done to address the concerns presented before the summit, one has to wonder if the problems will be addressed or if the stalemate on these major financial issues will continue.  ”

G20 did meet in Seoul, South Korea.

They all give Obama a squirt of urea.

Trade talks – forget it.

He still doesn’t get it

For printing more money is no panacea.

Robert Gibbs in Indian fight. A Limerick.

Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is known for sparring with White House reporters, making for what often seems like an antagonistic mood in the briefing room. But during President Obama’s trip to India, Gibbs assumed the role of press advocate and threatened to pull Obama out of bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmoham Singh because three U.S. reporters were blocked from covering the meeting. Indian officials would only let in five reporters into Hyderabad House in New Delhi instead of the agreed-upon eight. The Washington Post’s Scott Wilson—who was on White House pool duty today and filed the report for the White House press corps—wrote that “Gibbs announced loudly and persistently on steps of Hyderabad House that he would pull” President Obama out of the meeting “unless ‘the White House 8′ as we’ve come to be known, were all allowed in.” As the discussion continued, Gibbs grew more animated. “At one point, Gibbs literally had his foot lodged in the closing front door, asking if the Indian security officials pushing hard to shut it were going to break his foot,” Wilson continued. “More angry words ensued, and after Gibbs convinced them, through high volume and repetition, that he was serious about pulling [President Obama]” the press secretary had the security retinue’s full attention. And Gibbs’ intervention worked; the Indian officials eventually allowed the full American press delegation into the event, along with a larger group of Indian reporters. (Photo: AP)

Gibbs finally did get a foot in the door

that gave his 8 cohorts a seat on the floor.

The Indians were miffed.

Was Robert Gibbs piffed?

He did fight the Indians, It’s been done before.

Obama,: the misunderstood. A Limerick.

NEW YORK (CBS) — After suffering a “shellacking” in the midterm elections, President Obama acknowledges what many have seen as his chief weakness – failing to sell the importance of several legislative milestones to the American people. “I think that’s a fair argument. I think that, over the course of two years we were so busy and so focused on getting a bunch of stuff done that, we stopped paying attention to the fact that leadership isn’t just legislation. That it’s a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together. And setting a tone,” Mr. Obama told 60 Minutes’ Steve Kroft in an exclusive interview set to air Sunday. “Making an argument that people can understand,” Mr. Obama continued, “I think that we haven’t always been successful at that. And I take personal responsibility for that. And it’s something that I’ve got to examine carefully … as I go forward.”

Commander in Chief: “People don’t understand.

I’m trying to do what is best for our land.

I blame and complain

and I fail to explain:

Through the Mexican border comes much contraband.”

Obama to India for 200 million a day. A Limerick.

Proverbs 11:29 (King James Version) He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

What was President Barack Obama doing after his Democrat Party got a shellacking on Election Day? He got out of the country! Nov 5 2010 Obama left for India on a ten-day tour ending in South Korea, costing us taxpayers some $200 Million dollars a day! Obama was bringing an entourage of 3,000 people with him. Obama’s trip to India  included a visit to Taj Mahal. A total of 40 jetliners hauled Obama, family, friends and staff. They rented the entire Taj Mahal Palace & Tower Hotel, all 570 rooms! He was even bringing his teleprompters with him!

This calls for a Limerick!

Obama skipped town, went away down to India

to teach those poor folks how to use multimedia.

Teleprompters in tow

prevents gaffes in a row.

With wasting like this we’ll inherit the wind – yeah.
