The once Great Leap Forward with Mao Tse Tung;
And Hitler-Youth “Vorwärtz”, a song for the young.
Obama with FORWARD
Is heading us froward;
For all of his polices turns into dung.
Hitler-Jugend song “Vorwärtz” (forward):
It is hard to make predictions – especially about the future (Yogi Berra, Niels Bohr, et al.)
The Met Office has caused a storm of controversy after it was revealed their £30million supercomputer designed to predict climate change is one of Britain’s worst polluters.
The massive machine – the UK’s most powerful computer with a whopping 15 million megabytes of memory – was installed in the Met Office’s headquarters in Exeter, Devon.
With a total peak performance approaching 1 PetaFlop — equivalent to over 100,000 PCs and over 30 times more powerful than what was in place before. It is capable of 1,000 billion calculations every second to feed data to 400 scientists and uses 1.2 megawatts of energy to run – enough to power more than 1,000 homes.
So what glorious new and accurate information are they producing now?
Met Office 3-month Outlook
Period: April – June 2012 Issue date: 23.03.12
SUMMARY – PRECIPITATION:
The forecast for average UK rainfall slightly favours drier than average conditions for April-May-June as a whole, and also slightly favours April being the driest of the 3 months. With this forecast, the water resources situation in southern, eastern and central England is likely to deteriorate further during the April-May-June period. The probability that UK precipitation for April-May-June will fall into the driest of our five categories is 20-25% whilst the probability that it will fall into the wettest of our five categories is 10-15% (the 197-2000 climatological probability for each of these categories is 20%).
CONTEXT:
As a legacy of dry weather over many months water resources in much
of southern, eastern and central England remain at very low levels.
Winter rainfall in these areas has typically been about 70% of average,
whilst observations and current forecasts suggest that the final totals for
March will be below average here too. The Environment Agency advises
that, given the current state of soils and groundwater levels in these
areas, drought impacts in the coming months are virtually inevitable.
That was the prediction.
Ho well did they do?
Here is the result for April 2012:
2012 had wettest April for 100 years, Met Office says.
It has been the wettest April in the UK for over 100 years, with some areas seeing three times their usual average, figures from the Met Office show.
I am really impressed by their newfound forecasting ability.
So impressed I have written new lyrics to Merle Travis song: Sixteen tons (Popularized by Tennessee Ernie Ford)
Some people say people are made outta mud
Alarmists and warmists, they’re chewing their cud,
Chewing their cud and follow Al Gore
A mind that’s a-weak can you ask for much more?
More than one megawatt, and what did they get?
Another prognosis and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don’t you call ’em ’cause you must let ‘em be
They sold their souls to the IPCC.
They came in one mornin’ when the sun didn’t shine
They picked up their papers and continued the grind
They had sixteen conditions, mostly falsified bull
And the straw boss said “Well, a-bless my soul”.
More than one megawatt, and what did they get?
Another prognosis and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don’t you call ’em ’cause you must let ‘em be
They sold their souls to the IPCC.
They came in one mornin’, it was drizzelin’ rain
their prognoses had failed them again and again
The boss harshly told them, You will do many more
Do as I tell you, and agree with Al Gore.
More than one megawatt, and what did they get?
Another prognosis and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don’t you call ’em ’cause you must let ‘em be
They sold their souls to the IPCC.
The threatenin’ drought, it just didn’t last.
and hidin’ the warming that occurred in the past
Their ol’ man Mann and his hockey stick.
Conditions like that nothing ever will click.
More than one megawatt, and what did they get?
Another prognosis and deeper in debt
Saint Peter don’t you call ’em ’cause you must let ‘em be
They sold their souls to the IPCC.
(Here is an older version of the song:)
Wind farms can cause climate change, according to new research, that shows for the first time the new technology is already pushing up temperatures.
Usually at night the air closer to the ground becomes colder when the sun goes down and the earth cools. But on huge wind farms the motion of the turbines mixes the air higher in the atmosphere that is warmer, pushing up the overall temperature.
Satellite data over a large area in Texas, that is now covered by four of the world’s largest wind farms, found that over a decade the local temperature went up by almost 1 degreeC as more turbines are built. This could have long term effects on wildlife living in the immediate areas of larger wind farms. It could also affect regional weather patterns as warmer areas affect the formation of cloud and even wind speeds.
“You just can’t ignore the laws of thermodynamics, and ANY energy conversion will involve waste heat dumped to the environment. The only question is the size of the numbers.”
All the wind farms are warming the earth; this we know.
Electricity gained? Not a whole lot to show.
The green power decrees
heat the earth by degrees.
Their quixotic pursuit has been dealt a big blow.

Today, Time magazine got hold of a memo written by then-CIA head Leon Panetta after he received orders from Barack Obama’s team to greenlight the bin Laden mission. Here’s the text, which summarized the situation:
Received phone call from Tom Donilon who stated that the President made a decision with regard to AC1 [Abbottabad Compound 1]. The decision is to proceed with the assault.
The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven’s hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out. Those instructions were conveyed to Admiral McRaven at approximately 10:45 am.

All the control in the hands of McRaven.
Obama is shown as a chicken most craven.
The Raid on Osama
No thanks to Obama
It goes without saying Barack is no maven.
The timeline reveals that Obama was on one of his golf outings when the decision was made. Valerie Jarrett was not nearby and could not be consulted by Obama before making the Presidential O.K. Obama was called back from his golf game and given the ultimatum: Abort the operation in the next 10 minutes before the helicopters reached Pakistani territory or let the raid proceed. The military would take all the blame of a failure and Obama would get all the credit for the success. Even with that Obama had a hard time making a 10 minute call. (From an anonymous insider). (As you can see in the picture on right Obama does still have his golf-jacket on. There was no time to go in to his private quarters and change.)
The Obama Administration is working on regulations that would prevent children under the age of 18 from performing chores on family farms
This law would prohibit parents from passing along a family tradition and a way of life, and the new regulation would revoke approval of private companies like 4-H and FFA training children to do farm related tasks. Instead they would be required to take a government sponsored and approved training class.
The following is from Sarah Palin’s FaceBook.
The Obama Administration is working on regulations that would prevent children from working on our own family farms. This is more overreach of the federal government with many negative consequences. And if you think the government’s new regs will stop at family farms, think again.
My family is a commercial fishing family, and commercial fishing in Alaska is much like the family farm (but the year ’round farmers no doubt work harder than we do!). I guarantee fishing families wouldn’t stand for this nonsensical intrusion into our lives and livelihoods, and, as a former 4-H member, I don’t believe farm families will either. Our kids learn to work and to help feed America on our nation’s farms, and out on the water.
Federal government: get your own house in order and stop interfering in ours.
– Sarah Palin
Sarah, you took the words out of my mouth again.
The most fulfilling, well rounded childhood anyone could have is a life on a diversified family farm, with chicken, pigs, cows and an assortment of machinery.
One of my favorite memories can be expressed:
“There is nothing like the smell of a cold diesel starting up on a crisp winter morning.”
You wake up knowing there is work to be done.
“Idle hands is the devil’s workshop”.
Do they really want to make 4-H illegal?
This glorious Good Friday reminds us about the redemption we have in Jesus Christ.
A few years ago I wrote this song in five verses. Five is the number of grace.
It can also be used as one way of expressing five pillars of the Christian faith.
To be sung to the tune of “Dark Eyes” (Ochi Chernye)
1 The word incarnate proclaimed by God.
• Once in David’s town
• As the prophet said
• God Himself came down
• In a manger laid
• Wise men saw his star
• They came from afar
• Unto Bethlehem
• Where our Lord was born
2. The prayer of submission to the cross.
• In Gethsemane
• There in bitter pains
• Sweat like blood did flow
• From His sacred veins
• In deep anguish he
• Prayed more earnestly
• That God’s will be done
• Jesus prayed
3. The redemption.
• Outside city walls
• Up on Calvary
• He hung on a cross
• In deep agony
• The atonement made
• As He loudly said
• It is finished, then
• Breathed his last
4. The Resurrection.
• First day of the week
• The three women went
• They the grave did seek
• Stone was rolled away
• Strips of cloth they found
• As the scripture said
• Jesus had to rise
• From the dead
5. The pilgrimage and final victory.
• Therefore let us rejoice
• Gladly let us go
• Conquered has our Lord
• Vanquished is the foe
• Christ without, our shield
• Christ within, our life
• Unto Him our all we yield
• this is victory!
Verse 5 can be sung: So let us rejoice if sung in the same key as v1-4.
Otherwise modulate one half step with the extra syllable.

“It is the only country in the world that has now had six elections since the first election of [its president in 1997]. (It is) the only one with elections, including the United States, including Israel, including you name it, where the liberals, or the progressives, have won two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote in the six elections…In every single election, the guys I identify with got two-thirds to 70 percent of the vote. There is no other country in the world that I can say that about, certainly not my own.” Davos, Switzerland, Feb.2005.
The person that said it is William Jefferson Clinton, former President of the United States of America, and the country he is referring to is the Islamic Republic of Iran. He said it in an interview with PBS Charlie Rose.
The Islamic Republic of Nation Iran
Bill Clinton admires as much as he can.
They are so progressive
What we call oppressive
Is freedom to nuke our friends; that’s their plan.
“After my election I have more flexibility”
Said Obama to Dmitri, he can’t face reality
He surrenders our land
To that Russian mob-band.
Appeasement at work while pretending civility.
Listening to the words of treachery by our President I came up with this Limerick. Meanwhile in Alaska Sarah Palin penned her Facebook entry on precisely the same subject. Her message says it all in a simple language that anybody but a die-hard leftist would understand. It should be a must read for all who are concerned about the future of our Nation.
Here is Sarah Palin:
Whoever chooses to merely dismiss the significance of today’s exchange between our President and Russia’s President should have their intelligence and patriotism questioned. Let this exchange be a warning to voters: President Obama will have “more flexibility” to weaken us if he’s re-elected in November. He was caught speaking candidly to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev before a “hot mic” today (and surely one must believe he didn’t know the mics were still on; surely he’s not so audacious as to purposefully broadcast his intentions), as reported by ABC’s Jake Tapper. Here’s the exchange:
President Obama: On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.
President Medvedev: Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…
President Obama: This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.
President Medvedev: I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.
Let’s consider what this “flexibility” might mean. We know that he has repeatedly conceded to foreign demands and backed down on missile defense. I pointed this out as Governor of Alaska when he proposed reducing Alaska’s missile defense system capabilities. I explained then that the President’s proposed military cuts would diminish Alaska’s opportunity to defend the union with our strategic location’s defense infrastructure. We also know that in 2009, as part of his “reset” with Russia, President Obama turned his back on our Eastern European allies by abandoning past promises for a missile shield in Poland and the Czech Republic.
We can’t know for certain what this newly revealed “flexibility” means, but considering President Obama’s past actions, be sure it won’t involve a position of strength for America and our allies. Russia has been thwarting us on one issue after another, including the rushed-through revised START Treaty that many of us questioned after Obama insisted America ratify it first, then allow Russia to sit on it – unratified on their end – until it suited that foreign power’s needs.
Meanwhile, North Korea is planning another long-range missile launch, and the United States and our allies are still vulnerable to the threat of ballistic missiles. Our president has done nothing to alleviate this vulnerability; in fact, he’s done just the opposite. He has consistently taken a position of weakness and naïve trust in Putin’s Russia. Consider that one-sided New START Treaty as an example of this. Or consider those cuts to Alaska’s missile defense system, which leaves us much more vulnerable in the face of a nuclear North Korea. Now consider the state of our national defense under a President who whispers to a foreign power that he needs even “more flexibility” to weaken us further.

It’s funny how ONE word can change a campaign
In this case it’s three, but who is to complain?
This is no time to kvetch
‘bout the words “Etch-a-sketch.”
Obama and Romney are sketching in vain.
Here is the “Etch-a-Sketch” video:
