Exodus 25, offerings for the Tabernacle, the Ark, the Table, the Lampstand.

A talent of pure gold at today’s rate (Feb. 2020) is about 1.8 million dollars of pure gold.
Exodus 20, the Ten Commandments, the Law on Idols and Altars.
Modern day altars have both cut stones and steps, but they are beautiful. This is from the Basilique – Notre Dame in Montréal, Canada. Thank God we are free from the Law thanks to Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Yet, in spite of all this splendor the words from the writer of the letter to the Hebrews still ring true:
Hebrews 13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Exodus 19, at Mount Sinai.
Mount Sinai: Notice the abrupt rise from the plain. You know when you touch the mountain.

The New International Version translation mentions in Revelation 1:5b-6
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.
King James Version translates the same passage:
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
The NIV is correct, the Greek is βασιλείαν which means a kingdom.
When the Apostle Paul wrote Galatians Arabia Petraea was part of the Roman Empire. This is the Arabia he refers to
Exodus 18, Jethro’s advice.
Jethro was descendant of Keturah, which Abraham married after Sarah’s death. She bore him Midian, and Jethro was a descendant of Midian. Midian extended mostly east of the Gulf of Aqaba, but also included the southeast Sinai peninsula.

God appoints His spiritual servants, the people, not the apostles choose their civil servants. This is God’s will.
