Matthew 3:11-17, John the Baptist baptizes Jesus.
This is most probably where Jesus was baptized in an arm of the Jordan.
Today we read one chapter of Revelation and the final chapter of Malachi.
December 30: Revelation 21, Malachi 4 click on the chapter to begin reading).
Revelation 21. The apostle John saw in a vision how all things are made new, the New Jerusalem was before his eyes and the glory of the New Jerusalem was on full display. there was no temple in it, all glory goes to the Lamb, the Alpha and Omega!
Malachi 4 is all about the great and dreadful day of the Lord, but before that day God will send His messenger Elijah.
Today we read one chapter of Revelation and the third chapter of Malachi.
December 29: Revelation 20, Malachi 3 (click on the chapter to begin reading).
Revelation 20 is full of action: Satan will be bound for 1,000 Years and the saints will reign with Christ for the same length of time. Then there will be a satanic rebellion which will be crushed, and after that comes the Great White Throne Judgment.
Malachi 3. The LORD promised to send His messenger before His coming: “But who can endure the day of his coming“,”For He is like a refiners fire.” So return to God instead of robbing God, but the people complained. God assured them there is everything to gain to serve Him.

This passage is particularly interesting, with verse 15 put in the middle of a passage full of the most wonderful promises for Israel, ending with “a woman shall encompass a man.”
One of the possible sources for the last quote:
In the Arab world, Christians are named Nazarenes, symbolized with the letter ‘Nun’ .
It was painted on Christian homes in Mosul during the ISIS occupation, and Christians were systematically removed and some of them killed.
The organization Grassroots health put out the results of 212 people that had the COVID-19 virus, roughly 50 each having a critical or severe or normal or mild outcome. The results were stunning. Nearly all with a high level of vitamin D level in the blood had a mild outcome, as opposed to those with a vitamin D deficiency.

Up to now vitamin D deficiency has mostly been a concern for the people with the following risk factors, but not as a virus fighter.
It should be fairly simple and fast to expand this analysis to a larger sample of people that also include people with antibodies to COVID-19 but never showed any symptoms.
If this holds true, we did the exact wrong thing by keeping people indoors in hope to slow the spread. Instead we should have encouraged people to be outdoors as much as possible, still practicing hygiene and social distance, give vitamin D to all over 65 (4000 IU), to all obese and people of dark complexion.
This is by no means the only suggestion, but it is one more weapon in the arsenal to combat this virus.
An Indonesian study indicates the link between Vitamin D Deficiency and death is even stronger:

It is correct special attention should be given African Americans and Native Americans, since they have a much higher rate of Vitamin D deficiency.
Conclusion: The AMA should start paying attention to food supplements and issue recommendations for Vitamin D that it is an important therapeutic and prophylactic against COVID-19.
This also means that forbidding outdoor dining, forcing people to eat indoors in their own homes makes matters worse. This is also confirmed by the statistics of lockdown states, they do worse after lockdown than before. In contrast, states with less confinement are nearly all well past their peak.
Today we read one chapter of Revelation and the second chapter of Malachi.
December 28: Revelation 19, Malachi 2 (click on the chapter to begin reading).
Revelation 19. Hallelujah! While the world is quite upset at the demise of Babylon, (the failure of Global Governance), heaven is full of songs, jubilation and worship. Then John saw Christ on a White Horse, and the beast and his armies were defeated. On Christ’s robe is written “King of Kings, and Lord of Lords“.
Malachi 2 tells of corrupt priests and the treachery of infidelity.
Today we read only one chapter of Revelation.
December 27: Revelation 18 (click on the chapter to begin reading).
Revelation 18. This chapter is so full of Old Testament prophecy that it has been given today’s attention all by itself. It tells of the fall of Babylon the great, the one world political system, and the world mourns the fall of Babylon. The important thing to remember is that the Holy Bible is one consistent book, God is in control and gives the victory through Jesus Christ. We will not grasp it all, for if we did, we would try to save the world all by ourselves without God, (and fail miserably, as the Old Testament proves over and over again).

Psalm 22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
A Psalm of David: Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
The word Elohim is plural. Eli or Eloi is “my God” in the singular. They had never heard it in the singular, so they thought Jesus called for Elias!
This was the moment when Jesus became sin for us.
Meanwhile, back in the Temple, the scapegoat having been released, the Passover lamb was placed on the altar.
Jesus was the Passover lamb, sacrificed outside the camp on Golgatha. The veil that separated the holiest area from the rest of the temple was rent from top to bottom to signify the end to all offerings. Jesus was offered once for all time.
This was now late on 14th of Nisan, the Passover.
It is now Thursday afternoon, and the next day is a special Sabbath. Then comes the normal Sabbath on Saturday. This is not all that uncommon, it happens every seventh year on average, and this was the case in A.D. 30. The preparation means to prepare meals for two days as well as the passover meal before sunset. ( https://lenbilen.com/2017/04/14/when-was-the-crucifixion-of-jesus/ )
