Once upon a time there was a man who was proud to have been born in Kenya. ( See the book insert. By the way, his book was never published). Reality forced him to change his truth and he had to change his birthplace to Honolulu, Hawaii to be eligible to be president. This incredible transformation succeeded since there was none in the main stream media that was the slightest bit interested in his background. He had such a fantastic smile that they all fell for him and crowned him their chosen candidate in 2008.
But the question of his birthplace must have got under his skin. On the same day as there were terror reports in 3 states, while addressing a dinner held by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Saturday night, Obama joked about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s recent declaration that Obama was, in fact, born in America.
“I don’t know about you guys, but I am so relieved that the whole birther thing is over,” Obama said. “I mean, ISIL, North Korea, poverty, climate change, none of those things weighed on my mind like the validity of my birth certificate.”
This leads to verse 97 of the Obama impeachment song (as if sung by President Barack Hussein Obama to the tune of “Please release me, let me go”)
I was birther from the start
My Kenyan birth fell off the chart
Hill’s campaign did fall apart
At last I fooled Trump, I’m really smart.
