Revelation 14. The apostle John again saw the vision of the lamb and the 144,000 Jewish male virgins, after which he saw and heard three angels making their proclamation. And then came time to proclaim the reaping of the earth’s harvest, the Grapes of Wrath. This vision is later portrayed in the Battle Hymn of the Republic.
Zechariah 8. The Lord promised to bless Jerusalem, the future Holy City.
Zechariah 9, an oracle: The LORD will defend Israel against all enemies, He promised ” thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.”
Revelation 13. This is a very famous and scary chapter. The Apostle John saw two beasts, the beast from the sea, and even worse, the beast from the earth. His number is 666!
Zechariah 5. The visions keep unfolding, this chapter has the vision of the flying scroll and the vision of the woman in a basket.
Zechariah 6. This chapter begins with the vision of the four chariots. Having seen the vision the LORD told Zechariah to crown Joshua.
Zechariah 7. Obedience is better than fasting and disobedience ends with captivity.
Revelation 12. The vision the apostle John saw was about the woman, the child and the dragon. Satan was thrown out of heaven and the woman was persecuted but protected by God.
Zechariah 2 presents the vision of the Measuring Line and the future joy of Zion, Jerusalem being a city without walls and the joy of many nations.
Zechariah 3 gives a vision of the high priest, cleansed of all his sins and given new robes. The LORD promised to send His servant, the Branch.
Zechariah 4 tells of two more visions, the vision of the lamp Stand and the vision of the olive trees. There is one great takeaway quote from this chapter: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.“
Revelation 11 tells of the two witnesses, their power, death and resurrection. After that the seventh trumpet sounded and the Kingdom was proclaimed.
Zechariah 1 begins with a call to return to the LORD. Then wass presented two visions; the vision of the horses in which the LORD promised to comfort Zion, followed by the vision of the horns.
Revelation 10 tells of the mighty angel and the little book. The angel announced there would be no more delay, and by the time of the seventh trumpet all will be set in motion. John is told to eat the little book, and then he was told to prophesy again.
Proverbs 29, more proverbs of Solomon; and yes, they still deal with the superiority of wisdom and righteousness over folly and wickedness.
Psalm 149. Praise the LORD and sing a new song. With the two-edged sword (of the spirit?) the saints will execute judgement on the nations.
The EU’s drug watchdog on November 19 backed Merck’s anti-COVID pill for emergency use ahead of its formal authorization and started reviewing Pfizer’s antiviral treatment as cases soar across Europe.
The two pills by the US pharma giants represent a potentially groundbreaking step in the fight against coronavirus as studies show they cut the risk of hospitalization and death in high-risk patients.
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) said that while the Merck pill was not yet approved, it had “issued advice” so that individual countries in the 27-nation EU could decide whether to use it in case of a surge in infections.
The EU’s drug regulator on Dec 16 allowed member states to use Pfizer’s new COVID pill ahead of its formal approval, as an emergency measure to curb an Omicron-fuelled wave.
Pills like those by US pharma giant Pfizer and rival Merck have been hailed as groundbreaking because they do not need to be injected or taken intravenously, making them more accessible.
Pfizer said this week that its Paxlovid pill reduced hospitalisations and deaths in vulnerable people by almost 90 percent.
“The medicine, which is not yet authorised in the EU, can be used to treat adults with COVID-19 who do not require supplemental oxygen and who are at increased risk of progressing to severe disease,” the EMA said in a statement.
“EMA issued this advice to support national authorities who may decide on possible early use of the medicine… for example in emergency use settings, in the light of rising rates of infection and deaths due to COVID-19 across the EU.”
Merck’s pill decreases the ability of the coronavirus to multiply by increasing the number of mutations in its genetic material (or RNA).
The Pfizer pill uses a different method, belonging to a class of antivirals called “protease inhibitors”, which block the action of an enzyme that is critical to viral replication.
It is a combination of a new molecule, PF-07321332, and HIV antiviral ritonavir.
Europe has been searching for whatever methods it can to curb a fourth wave of COVID cases that has already prompted several countries to tighten restrictions.
Why not approve Ivermectin?
When a new epidemic breaks out, one for which there is no approved medication available that will cure the patient it has always been the aim of the medical community to see if there are any approved drugs that can be repurposed to cure the patient, because it takes too long to develop brand new drugs.
When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out there was a wild scramble to see what other drugs were available, most of it in other countries. One such effort, in Marseille, France, by a Muslim doctor caught the attention of then President Trump, and he started promoting it. It involved Hydrochloroquine, Zinc and Azithromycine, and it worked remarkably well when taken early, people were cured in 5 days, but it had one fatal flaw, the main drug is generic, and therefore the medical-industrial complex could not make any money on it, so no studies in the U.S.A could be performed by it and so, it could not be approved. Plus, it had been promoted by Trump, and he was no medical expert. Many countries with limited medical budgets called on its wide use as an early treatment with good results, the death rate of these, mostly developing countries was substantially lower than the advanced countries. Here is some early evidence.
The sub-Saharan countries that are plagued by river blindness had almost no COVID cases early during the pandemic, but no- one noticed. It turns out that in those countries they are using Ivermectin to prevent river blindness. This also blocks COVID-19, and so, Ivermectin was inadvertently repurposed. How successful is it? The data is here. India and Indonesia have drastically reduced their COVID-19 cases by the use of Ivermectin, results here. Japan reducrd their COVID-cases by 99%, see here.
. it works the same way as IverThe results speaks for themselves, that is for everybody except NIH, CDC and FDA. To protect their investment in COVID-19 disease management Pfizer is coming out with a pill, PF-07321332 which has been dubbed Pfizermectin by the social media, and for good reason, it works the same way as Ivermectin, but the molecule used is quite different. It is more specifically targeted at COVID-19, delta variant, and as such is even more efficient than Ivermectin, but Ivermectin is more broadband, and may work well against all future mutations of the virus and even against the next pandemic in the COVID family. The great advantage of the Pfizer pill is that it is expensive and as such will be approved lickety-split,, whereas the true cost in Africa for the Ivermectin pill is 6 cents.
Anyhow, here is Dr, John Campbell with the best presentation of how Ivermectin works I have seen. It has many scientific references.
Revelation 9. By now we are deep into the last half of the tribulation, the fifth trumpet sounded and the locusts from the bottomless pit are released. Then the sixth trumpet sounded, featuring the angels from the Euphrates doing horrendous deeds. An army of two hundred million mounted troops were released to kill a third of mankind. At the time of the Apostle John the total world population was about 250 million!
Haggai 2 describes the coming glory of God’s house, but the people were defiled. Nevertheless God promised a future blessing with Zerubbabel chosen to be like God’s signet ring.
Revelation 8 describes the precursors to the great tribulation with the opening of the seventh seal and the sounding of the trumpets. It begins with an earthquake. First Trumpet: Vegetation Struck, Second Trumpet: The Seas Struck, Third Trumpet: The Waters Struck, Fourth Trumpet: The Heavens Struck; one ecological disaster after another.
Haggai 1 is about having the right priorities. God had commanded the inhabitants of Jerusalem to rebuild His house. When pointed out their wrongful ways the people obeyed.
Revelation 7. The apostle John saw angels telling of the 144 thousand sealed of Israel, and then saw a multitude that came out of the Great Tribulation singing praises such as “Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.”
Proverbs 28, more proverbs of Solomon. Wisdom is important, so here are many more proverbs about wisdom and righteousness, and the consequences of the lack thereof.
Revelation 6. The first six seals are opened. First Seal: The rider on a white horse. He represents the conqueror or the Catholic Church. Second Seal: The rider on a red horse. He represents conflict on earth or the powers of humanism, secularism, communism and socialism. Third Seal: The rider on the black horse. He represents scarcity on earth or the results of unrestrained capitalism. Fourth Seal: The rider on the green horse. He represents mass death on earth or the religion/state power of Islam. Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs. “It was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Then comes the Sixth Seal with the Great Earthquake. It is at this time I place the rapture of the believers. We are living in the time of the first five seals already being opened. Read all the Old Testament references and see if it makes sense to you. This is but one interpretation since Revelation is deliberately veiled, lest we would go ahead on our own trying to make human sense out of it.
Zephaniah 3. Jerusalem was full of wickedness but there remained a faithful remnant and they would rejoice in God’s faithfulness, restoring His people.
