November 9, read through the Bible in a year.

Today we read the first chapter of 1 Peter and one chapter of Ezekiel.

November 9: 1 Peter 1, Ezekiel 39 (click on the chapter to begin reading).

1 Peter 1. The apostle Paul is greeting his fellow elect pilgrims of the dispersion and reminds them of their heavenly inheritance, as they are living before God their Father. In so doing they must be holy, having been regenerated (translated born again) and redeemed by Jesus Christ, the risen Savior, foreordained before the foundation of the world.

Ezekiel 39. Things will be going bad for Gog. His armies will be destroyed and he himself will be buried in Israel, there will be a triumphant festival and Israel will be restored to the land.
