June 16, read through the Bible in a year.

Today, we are reading  one chapter of 1 Corinthians and three chapters in 1 Chronicles.

June 16: 1 Corinthians 4, 1 Chronicles 25, 1 Chronicles 26, 1 Chronicles 27 (click on the chapter to begin reading)

1 Corinthians 4. Paul reminds the Corinthians they are servants of Christ, stewards of the mysteries of God and fools for Christ’s Sake. Then Paul urges them to imitate him and not be arrogant. “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

1 Chronicles 25 lists the musicians with their assigned divisions for service.

1 Chronicles 26 lists the gatekeepers, the treasurers and other officials.

1 Chronicles 27 lists the military divisions,  the leaders of tribes and other officials.
