Why Thorium? 8. Radioactive waste from a Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor decays down to background radiation in 300 years compared to a million years for U-235 based reactors. A Limerick.

The nuclear waste meant for Yucca

would destine Nevada the sucka

But with Thorium we rid

us of waste that is hid

No need for that waste to be trucka!

Radioactive waste from an LFTR (Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor)  decays down to background radiation in 300 years instead of a million years for U-235 based reactors. Initially LFTRs produce as much radioactivity as an U-235 based nuclear reactor, since fission converts mass to heat, but the decay products have a much shorter half-life. See the figure below.

Where is the storage for spent nuclear fuel and other nuclear waste now? Look at the map, it is scary.

And these are just the U.S. installations!

Many years ago I studied Engineering at Chalmers’ University in Sweden and I thought I would become a nuclear engineer. Sweden had at that time a peaceful heavy water based nuclear power program together with Canada and India. The advantage with heavy water as moderator is that it can use natural, un-enriched Uranium. One of the end products is of course Plutonium 239, the preferred material to make nuclear bombs, but it could also use Thorium, and the end product is then mostly Plutonium 238, used in space exploration, and we were dreaming big. One of the advantages of Thorium as fuel is that it produces about 0,01%  of trans-Uranium waste compared to Uranium as fuel. About that time the U.S. proposed we should abandon the heavy water program and switch to light water enriched Uranium based nuclear power. They would sell the enriched Uranium, and reprocess the spent fuel at cost. They also had the ideal final resting place for the radioactive waste products in Nevada. This was an offer the Swedish government could not refuse, at the height of the cold war. This was  in the 1960’s! India on the other hand did refuse, and they eventually got the nuclear bomb. Since that meant Sweden was never going to use Thorium as nuclear fuel, and I could not figure out how to get rid of all the radioactive waste products, I switched my attention back to control engineering.

.What did President Trump mean with innovative approaches?

Is this where Thorium comes in!? Thorium solves many problems with nuclear energy. Meanwhile the Biden administration and Congress keep hoarding nuclear waste in local storages.

The evil of human trafficking. This includes biological warfare.

Today is the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons day.

The evil that is occurring with human trafficking cannot be overstated. Besides sexual exploitation till total destruction and death, yes, the life of a sex-slave can sometimes be as short as four to five years after initial transaction, all the time they are abused, they can be carriers of diseases, some nearly impossible to cure.

Today it struck me; it is even worse than we feared. Let me explain.

God is in the healing business. He does not want anyone to perish, but be saved. This is not only spiritually, but also physically. Through the ages, we have learnt that certain behavior is not good for you, one of which is illicit sexual encounters, it spreads diseases, some of which may be deadly. God’s idea from the beginning was, one man, one woman, one lifetime. Being humans, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God, this includes much more than spreading sexual diseases, this was just one example.

Throughout history there has been medical nurses and doctors that wanted to cure people from disease, finding one cure after another, developing vaccines, making wonderful medical equipment to do better diagnoses, better and safer surgeries and finding more cures. And so, finding out that one has cancer is not an automatic death sentence anymore, many cancers are now completely curable.

And then there are NIH and CDC. Their goal is not primarily to cure you but to create a controllable dependency, thus creating a reliable revenue stream for he medical establishment. This sounds harsh, but watching their handling of the Covid-19 pandemic has convinced me this is their ultimate goal, not the overall welfare of the patient.

But it is getting worse, The Covid-19 virus is not a virus that occurs naturally, it is an engineered virus through genetic manipulation to make it transmissible from human to human, also known as gain of function research. U.S. used to do such research, but it was stopped in 2015 because of its inherent danger should the virus escape from the lab. Dr Fauci participated in this research and defended its use for defensive purposes to have a defense against biological warfare. In 2017, ten days before Trump took office, then president Obama lifted the ban and allowed defensive research to resume. Dr Fauci then teamed up with the Wuhan lab and gave them a grant of 3.5 million dollars via a third party. The Wuhan lab was then controlled by the Chinese Communist Military. They did the offensive biological weapons development, and U.S. developed countermeasures. What could go wrong? In 2017 Dr. Fauci even cryptically mentioned that President Trump would encounter a surprise worldwide epidemic during his term in office. Then in 2019 the unthinkable happened, and that is where we are now.

The medical establishment is run by CDC and NIH and they are in charge of our response to the Covid-19 outbreak. But medical care is a matter for each state, so there will be differences how it is approached. President Trump decided to answer the pandemic with “Operation Warpspeed” and develop a vaccine in less than 8 months. Lucky for him Fr Fauci had the response ready. In conjunction with Moderna they had a proposed vaccine ready to be tested in 2 days, thanks to the defensive research conducted already in the Wuhan lab. So NIH owns one half of the Covid-19 vaccine patent, Moderna owns the other half. Operation warpspeed guaranteed that the U.S would buy millions of doses even if the vaccine didn’t work, so it was off to the races. Pfizer had a similar vaccine under development, and Johnson and Johnson took a couple of months more to develop a more conventional vaccine. This suited the CDC well, a solution to Covid-19 and a solid revenue stream.

But there were poorer countries out there, countries that could not afford to spend billions of dollars to develop vaccines, so they resorted to old, known medications, such as Hydroxychloroquine. The result, when applied early, together with Zinc and Azithromycine had remarkable results. Their death rates were less than half that of the rich countries, even when adjusted for age and other diseases. The Front-line Doctors held a news conference touting the benefits of this treatment, and in less than a day it was seen by over 20 million people. Then it was taken off you-tube and other social media and labeled misinformation. Even Fox News Don Cavuto produced a medical doctor that claimed if you took it YOU WILL DIE! Never mind it has been given for over fifty years against Malaria, and is given for years to people with lupus, even pregnant women and nursing mothers. No, the problem with HCQ is that it is generic, so there in no money in it any more. Another medication that has proven very successful in India is Ivermectin. It can be bought at Tractor Supply as a horse cure against parasitic invasions. It was in India the Delta-variant first occured, and in areas where it has been applied such as in the Delhi area new cases are down 97% already.

It seems to me, not being a medical doctor, that the obvious solution is to approve both HCQ and Ivermectin both for prophylactic use and as an early cure, and not enforce vaccines to anyone under 45 years of age, except the vulnerable population of course. This way we can return to sanity, masks hinder child development and causes all kinds of stress for the rest of us.

What has this to do with human trafficking? This is just the point. The Wuhan lab is in full operation, developing new and more deadly viruses ready to be released when the time is right for them in their long term biological warfare plans. They already provide us with the world supply of fentanol, the smugglers of which provide a perfect delivery vehicle. No, it is not the normal people crossing the border by the millions that are the problem, even though they are often physically and sexually abused even before getting here, it is the smugglers that smuggle both drugs and humans and are not even tracked by the border agents. They are the ideal “soldiers” in the new warfare, no longer governed by conventional weapons or even guerilla warfare, but by the drug cartels in conjunction with China that are the biggest threat.

Dr. Anthony Fauci knew all along COVID-19 was designed as a bioweapon. The FOIA released e-mails tells us so.

This was in 2005. Dr. Fauci knew then HydroxyChloroQuine was effective against Covid type viruses. “In the 1985-86 edition of Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine [a highly recommended book for students studying medicine in medical colleges], Dr. Fauci wrote that HCQ worked an anti-viral agent despite being an anti-malarial drug. There was no Covid-19 back then, but HCQ’s anti-viral properties were already well known.

In 2015 the only level-4 virus lab in the U.S. conducting defensive research against “Gain of function” viruses was closed because of the inherent danger to the population should the virus escape. Not to worry, President Obama, Melinda Gates and Dr Fauci started to look for a new place to conduct the research. They found it in Wuhan, China; the Chinese have no such scruples as danger to the people. This lab was taken over in 2017 by the Chinese army, conducting bio-weapon research (defensive only, of course), so the research continued, this time controlled by the Chinese.

In January 2017 Anthony S. Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said there is “no doubt” Donald J. Trump will be confronted with a surprise infectious disease outbreak during his presidency.

It is getting interesting. The virus escaped the lab, sometimes in the fall of 2019, and the Chinese knew it but kept silent. They closed off Wuhan to all other Chinese, rail, car and air. But they kept international travel open, as if they wanted the virus to spread all around the world. And Dr. Fauci knew it!

Thanks to a FOIA request from buzzfeed Dr. Faauci’s e-mails have been released. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/20793561-leopold-nih-foia-anthony-fauci-emails

On page 2286 it clearly states that Covid-19 was designed in the lab as a bio-weapon!

Ramadan year 1442 has begun, but not in Iran, a Limerick.

In Mecca, but not Teheran

begun the new month Ramadan

the new moon must be seen

in Iran, they must spy

the new moon with their eye

they follow the strictest Quran.

Ramadan, year 1442 begun at sunset April 12 in Saudi Arabia and in 45 other Islamic countries. Iran has to wait another day, since they still hold on to the old way that the new moon has to be seen by the naked eye before a new moon can be proclaimed. Iran is alone in adopting April 13 at sunset as the beginning of Ramadan.

The Sunni nations and the Shia nation really do hate each other, so much so that some Arab nations would rather make peace with Israel than to cooperate with Iran. Former President Trump actually got three Nobel Peace Prize nominations for arranging these peace deals. The hate for president Trump is still so intense that the Biden administration would rather return to the old Iran deal than work towards Mideast peace.

Islam follow a strictly lunar calendar where each 12 month year is either 364 or 365 days. Their time of beginning was the year their Prophet Muhammed died, and so they are now in year 1442 after Muhammad. The Jews are in year 5781 after creation, and they have a lunisolar calendar, where they add a leap month five year of every 19 to sync. up with the solar year. The rest of the world have a solar year, and Christianity and other religions follow the solar calendar, the start of the year may vary.

To get a glimpse of the differences of the three monotheistic faiths, let us go through the last days of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad and see what a message they delivered to us.

Moses had delivered his people out of Egypt and was now, at the ripe old age of 120 years ready to enter the promised land. But because of Moses disobedience God (YHWH) had told him that he was not allowed to enter into the promised land. He was however permitted to see it. So Moses recited his song and the blessings  on the tribes of Israel (Found in chapters 32 and 33 of Deuteronomy) ending with:

mosestombstone

Deuteronomy 33:28-29 (King James Version) Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew. Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.

After that Moses went up Mount Nebo and saw the promised land Deuteronomy 34:4 (King James Version) And the LORD said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

After that Moses died and to this day no one knows the place he was buried. The Bible goes on to record: Deuteronomy 34:10-12 (King James Version) And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

This indicates there never was another prophet like Moses. But Moses promised another prophet was to come after him. This is found in Deuteronomy 18:14-18 (New International Version, ©2010) 14 The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so. 15 The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him. 16 For this is what you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly when you said, “Let us not hear the voice of the LORD our God nor see this great fire anymore, or we will die.” 17 The LORD said to me: “What they say is good. 18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him.

We have two candidates: Jesus and Muhammad.

What about Jesus? Was Jesus a prophet?

541px-Jesus_ascending_to_heaven

The first reaction is: Of course, he was a prophet. Look at all he did and predicted. But that totally misses the point. Was He a prophet? Or was he more than a Prophet?

In the Old Testament of the Bible there is an old book called Job. We do not know much about him except he was before Moses and has a reputation of being “patient as Job”, refusing to turn from God when a series of misfortunes happened to him. He was looking forward to a redeemer: Job 19:25-26 (King James Version) For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Was Jesus that redeemer? What does “redemption” mean? Christian belief is that the reason Jesus came to earth was to redeem mankind back to God. Because of sin man is incapable to do it himself, so God had to do it. For this reason Jesus came as God incarnate to die on a cross for our sins. According to prophesies given by Isaiah about 800 B.C. in chapter 53 Jesus rejection and crucifixion was described. The earliest preserved copy of Isaiah dates back to second century B.C. so the prophecy is secure. These are Jesus last words on the cross. They confirm it was Jesus that died on the cross and not someone else.

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34). The word of divine forgiveness.

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46.) Jesus became sin for us.

He said to his mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” (John 19:26-27). The word of love.

I thirst!” (John 19:28) The word of humanness.

“Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43) The word of promise.

“It is finished!” (John 19:30). The word of redemption.

“Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit.” (Luke 23:46). The word of death.

Many people stop there, as if these were Jesus’ last words. But death was not the end of Jesus. On the third day Jesus rose again and gave instructions to his faithful for forty days.

Jesus last recorded words were:    “It is not for you to know times or seasons (of his return) that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”After that Jesus was taken up to heaven.

Muhammadtomb

The last person in the trio was Muhammad. He had received messages from the angel Gabriel, very complimentary  about the Jewish people, the people of the Book, but while in Mecca he was not accepted as a Prophet so he moved on to Medina where he was accepted by some followers.

They asked the Jews whether he was the Prophet Moses spoke of, but the Jews said, No, not at all, he is an imposter and not the Prophet.

That changed things and the angel Gabriel told him to change the direction of their prayers from Jerusalem to Mecca, since they are in opposite direction of each other if you are in Medina. This forced people to disclose their true adherence.

From that moment on Gabriel changed his instructions to Muhammad and the feud was on. Muhammad and his team started to attack Jewish villages and force them into subservience. After a raid on a Jewish village a young Jewish girl poisoned Mohammed’s food. He never saw it coming (what a Prophet!), nor did the angel Gabriel warn him, so he ate it. He never recovered from it and died two years later.

Muhammad’s last recorded words before he died was: Volume 2, Book 23, Number 414: Narrated ‘Urwa: Aisha said, “The Prophet in his fatal illness said,‘Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because they took the graves of their Prophets as places for praying.”‘ Aisha added, “Had it not been for that the grave of the Prophet (peace be upon him) would have been made prominent but I am afraid it might be taken (as a) place for praying.

So Muhammad chose to curse Christians and Jews and join with his fellow martyrs.

You can judge for yourself which message to believe, which message is peaceful, and which message is the true message from God.

I have decided to follow Jesus. He is the risen Savior, his tomb is empty. All the others are dead, And I am glad I live in the year of our Lord 2021 and not 1442

The case fatality rate of COVID-19 is reduced by a factor of 2.8 if HCQ + Zinc is administered as soon as possible. 1.2 Million cases are proof enough!

President Donald Trump ripped the “Fake News” media on Tuesday for not reporting that the U.S. has the lowest COVID-19 mortality rate in the world.

The president tweeted a Washington Times article that discusses the decreasing death rate.

“We have the lowest Mortality Rate in the World,” Trump wrote. “The Fake News should be reporting these most important of facts, but they don’t!”

His press secretary Kayleigh McEnany in her press briefing posted this chart to boost his claim.

The article covers a Monday White House press conference. McEnany told reporters that the American death toll has fallen for weeks and the virus fatality rate is below France, the United Kingdom and Germany.

She said the death toll has significantly dropped from the height of the outbreak when the U.S. logged 2,500 deaths per day to 254 deaths on Saturday, according to the article.

To confirm it the case fatality rate for Germany is as of July 7: 4.59%

The corresponding number for U.S.A.: 4.33%

Is that the lowest percentage in the world?

There are more than ten countries with a lower case fatality rate. At least ten of them have one thing in common. These ten countries prescribe the use of  HydroxyChloroQuine to all people that show symptoms of COVID-19, even before a positive test is confirmed.

Turkey: 2.53%

South Korea: 2.15%

Senegal: 1.82%

Morocco: 1.64%

Russia: 1.48%

Malaysia: 1.39%

United Arab Emirates: 0.62%

Costa Rica: 0.42%

Bahrain: 0.32%

Qatar: 0.13%, but since 88% of the population are migrant workers between 20 and 60, the adjusted death rate for the permanent residents would be maybe 8 times higher, or about 1%

The total number of positive cases for these ten countries are over 1.2 million, far more than any double blind test could ever produce.

Taking the average, adjusted for the number of positive cases, the average adjusted death rate for ten countries, where people are taking HCQ + Zinc as soon as they are showing symptoms or diagnosed positive, is 1.51%.

This means that the risk of death is reduced by a factor of 2.8 if HZQ + Zinc is taken as early as possible after showing symptoms or after a positive diagnosis for corona-virus!

Reduce death rates from the corona-virus by a factor of 3 or more. Implement the proper Hydroxychloroquine protocol now! The proof exists! It is no more anecdotal!

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden lambasted President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic Tuesday, saying that Trump is “in retreat” with more 125,000 Americans dead and the virus worsening in many states.

In a speech in Wilmington, Delaware, the former vice president recounted what he cast as Trump’s missteps, from Trump’s early dismissals of the virus to his more recent refusals to wear a mask in public appearances.
Pointing to Trump in March declaring himself a wartime president in battling the coronavirus, Biden said: “What happened? Now it’s almost July, and it seems like our wartime president has surrendered — waved the white flag and left the battlefield.”
Well, did the wartime president surrender?

In March, President Trump used a press conference to promote the use of hydroxychloroquine, a common anti-malaria drug, to treat Covid-19, saying: “I sure as hell think we ought to give it a try.”

He followed this with a tweet that claimed the use of the drug in combination with azithromycin, an antibiotic, could be “one of the biggest game-changers in the history of medicine”. On Sunday April 5, Trump again touted hydroxychloroquine, saying “there are some very strong, powerful signs” of its potential as a Covid-19 therapy.

Trump has been repeatedly contradicted by public health experts including his own top infectious diseases adviser, Dr Anthony Fauci, who has warned that there is only “anecdotal evidence” that the drugs could be helpful. To prove his point, they produced in short order three studies, one from the Veterans administration and two from hospitals showing that it had no positive effect on people sick enough to fight for their lives. At a Neil Cavuto show (FOX) a medical doctor even claimed “If you take it outside of a physician’s supervision You will die!” Meanwhile this very drug has even been given to pregnant women and nursing mothers as a treatment for Lupus with no restrictions, and they take it for life, or until the lupus disappears.

There are at least ten countries that prescribe HydroxyCloroQuine, mostly in combination with Zinc and an antibiotic, as soon as COVID symptoms occur. When the illness has progressed to the point of autoimmune overreaction and  the oxygen exchange is to the point of collapse it is too late and may even aggravate the situation.

The ten countries chosen are: Turkey, South Korea, Malaysia, Senegal, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Russia and Qatar. It can safely be assumed that not all of these countries have a health care system superior to ours. How are these ten countries faring in the Corona-virus fight, compared to the rest of the world?

For the world as a whole, the death rate from the Corona-virus as of June 30 is 4.85% of diagnosed cases. and recovered cases versus deaths is 11.28 recorded recoveries for every death.

For the United States the death rate from the Corona-virus as of June 30 is 4.77% of diagnosed cases. and recovered cases versus deaths is 8.78 recorded recoveries for every death. or about the same as for the world as a whole.

Taking the average, adjusted for the number of positive cases, the average adjusted death rate for ten countries, where people are taking HCQ + Zinc as soon as they are diagnosed positive, is 1.51%.

This means that the risk of death is reduced by a factor of 3.2 if HZQ + Zinc is taken as early as possible after a positive diagnosis for corona-virus!

Recovered cases versus deaths is an indicator of how fast patients recover after taking HCQ. Taking the average recovery ratio over the number of cases, gives the median recovery ratio, of 55.5, compared to the recovery rate for the rest of the world of 11.28, an improvement of 4.9 times as many recorded recoveries for every death. This is an indicator of how fast people recover, but is a very lagging indicator, since many countries do not report recovered cases in a timely manner. If they did, both the numbers for the ten countries, and for the world as a whole would look better, but it is the best measurement we have for now.

The total positive cases for these ten countries are over one million, or about 10.0% of all positive tests so far, far more than any double blind controlled study could ever produce, and indicate that if implemented all across U.S. (and the world as a whole) the death rate from now on would be about a third of what we are now experiencing. In addition hospitalizations and hospital stays would be greatly reduced.

WHO paused a double blind study out of an “abundance of caution”.

HCQ has been taken by over one million patients testing positive for the corona-virus as soon as symptoms did arise or shortly thereafter. We do not need a double blind control study, the results speak for themselves.

Is it because it has been promoted by President Trump, and some would rather die than get cured because of that?

Is HCQ too cheap to promote? It is totally generic, no pharmaceutical company stands to gain from producing it, so there will be no study made by them. Any study will have to come from government, or a university not depending on grants from the pharmaceutical industry.

Is it too dangerous? No, it is approved and has been given as a prevention for malaria for over 50 years, it has been approved for combating Lupus for over 20 years, and can be given to pregnant women and nursing mothers with no restrictions. There is a small number of cases involving heart arrhythmia, but  these patients can be monitored with an ECG, and if the condition is severe they can be advised not to take the medication.

It is high time to save lives. Implement the Hydroxychloroquine + Axithromycin + Zinc regimen to be taken as soon as symptoms occur or testing positive NOW! Do not wait for the double blind confirmation tests, they take seemingly forever.

Appendix: The data is used from https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

The death rate from all causes doubles for every 8 years as you age or about 9% per year. The death rate from Corona-virus is remarkably the same as the death rate from all causes, adjusted for age. The world median age is 30.4 years. So let the world death rate be the norm and adjust for the median age for the 10 countries.

World death rate as of June 25 is 4.77% of diagnosed cases. and recovered cases versus deaths is 8.78

Compare this with 10 countries that use HCQ for most patients as soon as they test positive for the corona virus.

Turkey: Death rate 2.57%, median age 30.9, adjusted death rate 2.45%, recovered cases versus deaths  33.7, total cases 199,906

South Korea: Death rate 2.19%, median age 30.9, adjusted death rate 2.10% recovered cases versus deaths  41.2, total cases 12,850

Malaysia: Death rate 1.40%, median age 28.5, adjusted death rate 1.68% recovered cases versus deaths  69.0, total cases 8,639

Senegal: Death rate 1.65%, median age 18.8, adjusted death rate 4.44%, recovered cases versus deaths  44.2, total cases 6,793

Costa Rica: Death rate 0.46%, median age 31.3, adjusted death rate 0.44%, recovered cases versus deaths 89.7, total cases 3,459

United Arab Emirates: Death rate 0.65%, median age 30.9, adjusted death rate 0.62%, recovered cases versus deaths 119.2 , total cases 48,667

Bahrain: Death rate 0.33%, median age 32.3, adjusted death rate 0.28%, recovered cases versus deaths  260.6, total cases 26,758

Morocco: Death rate 1.82%, median age 29.3, adjusted death rate 2.00%, recovered cases versus deaths  39.1, total cases 12,533

Russia: Death rate 1.44%, median age 30.9, adjusted death rate 1.38%, recovered cases versus deaths  44.2, total cases 647,849

Qatar: Death rate 0.12%, median age 30.9, but since 88% of the population are migrant workers between 20 and 60, the adjusted death rate is at least 8 times higher, or 094 %, and adjusted recovered cases versus deaths  90.2, total cases 96,088

Thanks! In 2017 God is back in the presidential Thanksgiving Proclamation after 8 years of thanking each other.

After 8 years of Thanksgiving Day Proclamations under President Obama there was a concerted effort to take away the real reason for giving thanks. The mentioning of God were fewer and fewer as they ears went by and finally in the 2016 proclamation God was not thanked once. The only remnant left was the date “In the year of our Lord” , or Anno Domini, which in all scientific documents has been replaced by “Common Era” or C.E. to placate Muslims and atheists.
Now President Trump again proclaims it is important to give thanks to God Almighty, and to offer prayers.
Here it is:
THANKSGIVING DAY, 2017
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION

On Thanksgiving Day, as we have for nearly four centuries, Americans give thanks to Almighty God for our abundant blessings. We gather with the people we love to show gratitude for our freedom, for our friends and families, and for the prosperous Nation we call home.

In July 1620, more than 100 Pilgrims boarded the Mayflower, fleeing religious persecution and seeking freedom and opportunity in a new and unfamiliar place. These dauntless souls arrived in Plymouth, Massachusetts, in the freezing cold of December 1620. They were greeted by sickness and severe weather, and quickly lost 46 of their fellow travelers. Those who endured the incredible hardship of their first year in America, however, had many reasons for gratitude. They had survived. They were free. And, with the help of the Wampanoag tribe, and a bountiful harvest, they were regaining their health and strength. In thanks to God for these blessings, the new governor of the Plymouth Colony, William Bradford, proclaimed a day of Thanksgiving and gathered with the Wampanoag tribe for three days of celebration.

For the next two centuries, many individual colonies and states, primarily in the Northeast, carried on the tradition of fall Thanksgiving festivities. But each state celebrated it on a different day, and sometime on an occasional basis. It was not until 1863 that the holiday was celebrated on one day, nationwide. In the aftermath of the Battle of Gettysburg, one of the bloodiest battles of our Nation’s Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed that the country would set aside one day to remember its many blessings. “In the midst of a civil war of unequalled magnitude and severity,” President Lincoln proclaimed, we recall the “bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come.” As President Lincoln recognized: “No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.”

Today, we continue to celebrate Thanksgiving with a grateful and charitable spirit. When we open our hearts and extend our hands to those in need, we show humility for the bountiful gifts we have received. In the aftermath of a succession of tragedies that have stunned and shocked our Nation – Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria; the wildfires that ravaged the West; and, the horrific acts of violence and terror in Las Vegas, New York City, and Sutherland Springs – we have witnessed the generous nature of the American people. In the midst of heartache and turmoil, we are grateful for the swift action of the first responders, law enforcement personnel, military and medical professionals, volunteers, and everyday heroes who embodied our infinite capacity to extend compassion and humanity to our fellow man. As we mourn these painful events, we are ever confident that the perseverance and optimism of the American people will prevail.

We can see, in the courageous Pilgrims who stood on Plymouth Rock in new land, the intrepidness that lies at the core of our American spirit. Just as the Pilgrims did, today Americans stand strong, willing to fight for their families and their futures, to uphold our values, and to confront any challenge.

This Thanksgiving, in addition to rejoicing in precious time spent with loved ones, let us find ways to serve and encourage each other in both word and deed. We also offer a special word of thanks for the brave men and women of our Armed Forces, many of whom must celebrate this holiday separated from the ones for whom they are most thankful. As one people, we seek God’s protection, guidance, and wisdom as we stand humbled by the abundance of our great Nation and the blessings of freedom, family, and faith.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Thursday, November 23, 2017, as a National Day of Thanksgiving. I encourage all Americans to gather, in homes and places of worship, to offer a prayer of thanks to God for our many blessings.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand seventeen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-second.

DONALD J. TRUMP

Here is last year’s proclamation. Notice the name of God is missing, except for the date. All thanks is given to fellow members of society.

By the President of the United States of America
A Proclamation

Nearly 400 years ago, a small band of Pilgrims fled persecution and violence and came to this land as refugees in search of opportunity and the freedom to practice their faith. Though the journey was rough and their first winter harsh, the friendly embrace of an indigenous people, the Wampanoag—who offered gracious lessons in agriculture and crop production—led to their successful first harvest. The Pilgrims were grateful they could rely on the generosity of the Wampanoag people, without whom they would not have survived their first year in the new land, and together they celebrated this bounty with a festival that lasted for days and prompted the tradition of an annual day of giving thanks.

This history teaches us that the American instinct has never been to seek isolation in opposite corners; it is to find strength in our common creed and forge unity from our great diversity. On that very first thanksgiving celebration, these same ideals brought together people of different backgrounds and beliefs, and every year since, with enduring confidence in the power of faith, love, gratitude, and optimism, this force of unity has sustained us as a people. It has guided us through times of great challenge and change and allowed us to see ourselves in those who come to our shores in search of a safer, better future for themselves and their families.

On this holiday, we count our blessings and renew our commitment to giving back. We give thanks for our troops and our veterans—and their families—who give of themselves to protect the values we cherish; for the first responders, teachers, and engaged Americans who serve their communities; and for the chance to live in a country founded on the belief that all of us are created equal. But on this day of gratitude, we are also reminded that securing these freedoms and opportunities for all our people is an unfinished task. We must reflect on all we have been afforded while continuing the work of ensuring no one is left out or left behind because of who they are or where they come from.

For generations, our Nation’s progress has been carried forward by those who act on the obligations we have to one another. Each year on Thanksgiving, the selflessness and decency of the American people surface in food banks and shelters across our country, in time spent caring for the sick and the stranger, and in efforts to empathize with those with whom we disagree and to recognize that every individual is worthy of compassion and care. As we gather in the company of our friends, families, and communities—just as the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag did centuries ago—let us strive to lift up others, promote tolerance and inclusiveness, and give thanks for the joy and love that surround all of us.

Now, Therefore, I, Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim November 24, 2016, as a National Day of Thanksgiving. I encourage the people of the United States to join together—whether in our homes, places of worship, community centers, or any place of fellowship for friends and neighbors—and give thanks for all we have received in the past year, express appreciation to those whose lives enrich our own, and share our bounty with others.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-third day of November, in the year of our Lord two thousand sixteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and forty-first.

BARACK OBAMA
