Today we read the eighth chapter of the letter to the Hebrews and two chapters of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 9.  The prophet Ezekiel saw in a vision how the idolaters were to be slain.

Ezekiel 10. The vision continued with Ezekiel seeing the same whirling wheels as in Ezekiel 1 and while they were hovering over Jerusalem the Glory of God departed from the Temple.

Ezekiel 10. And after that the Glory departs from the Temple.

Abraham did not offer in the tabernacle or in the temple, he offered up his son, Isaac on Mount Moriah, which according to legion is where now the Dome of the Rock stands as a shrine.

There is great controversy on where the temple once stood, but it is probably near the El Kos Fountain, and would partly overlap the El Aksa Mosque.
